February 27, 2007 at 5:59 pm #539421Yeah, I bet if I was in Costa Rica everything would be cute!!
February 27, 2007 at 6:14 pm #539422Well Sunhawk, you didn’t bring back any nice weather with you. It is a blizzard out there.
February 27, 2007 at 9:13 pm #539423I wish we where having a nasty winter here. I’m still waiting for my OT

LOL sorry! I heard there was an ice storm while I was gone so I claim no responsibility for wacky weather ;P
February 27, 2007 at 11:50 pm #539425Aw, it is ok. I guess the weather doesn’t listen to you either.

Oh definitely not, unless you count the fact that I knew the minute I bought new leather boots, it was going to go from no snow to tons of it and thus tons of roadsalt so I can’t wear the boots until spring *chuckle*

Sure ya can. Just waterproof them. My mom gave me uggs (well the ones from costco) for x-mas and they are not waterproofed, but I still wear them anyway. They still keep my feet very warm. I have gotten them dirty, so I chucked them in the washer and they turned out almost brand new.

Even with waterproofing, roadsalt can quickly make a mess of leather because it’s more about the salt than the water. I have winter boots which are warmer anyway so I’m happy to wear those instead ^_^

I guess mine are light enough that doesn’t really matter.
