XD WOW! ;D You guys really really like him!! ^_^ I’m so happy!!
Nam – you’re getting confused; you’re the goddess, remember? (your compliment means a TON to me, Nam. thanks so much!)
LOL Well, I suppose if people really want them, I could make more tiger griffins – but here’s the thing – for one, I can’t work on any other commissions yet, and then I’m getting married…sooooo no one would see another one of these guys probably until the begining of September. For two, I’m afraid I’ll have to charge a lot for one of these… 😳 I would say that painting is it’s own reward, but doing one of these takes me a hojillion hours, and (ask Nam!) painting the same thing over and over isn’t much fun, it’s WORK! XD Take a look at my commission information in the flea market and PM me if you think you might still be interested…I know I charge more than most people on the forum, but you are absolutely getting your money’s worth in hours of work and detail.
Would you guys want more Tabby tigers, or would you want other sorts of tigers??You know, it strikes me – if he were an actual real griffin, his color pattern would be really good camoflage while flying, with the white underbelly blending into the sky and the dark top and stripes blending into the ground…well, as long as the ground was orange I guess! XD

June 23, 2007 at 10:12 pm #591823Can I jump on the bandwagon too! I love it! 😀

I’m SO serious- I’m about to chuck these Labradorite griffins out the window. Someone better come over here and get ready to catch them with a pillow or something. I’ve been painting the bloody things* since April of this year and it’s the same thing day in and day out. For someone with a hyper-creative brain this is like slow torture! 😆
*- I say this with all the affection in the world; for all I complain I’m still attached to these guys. *hugs the momma* *_*

My art: featherdust.comJune 23, 2007 at 11:47 pm #591826I think you must be superwoman to be able to do more than 2, period. I’d be bald from pulling my hair out by now! How many are left to be done?
June 24, 2007 at 12:15 am #591827SHEESH – if I had to do a bunch of BIG griffins in a pattern that complicated, I’d probably go out of my mind…my fiance would probably move out to get away from me! XD You’re a TROOPER Nam!! *huggles Labradorite #2*

They are open edition, so up to…. infinity.
But, I’m only doing 3* of each pose for now, and then I’m not gonna do anymore, at least for a long time!* – I did 4 of the male, but #1 belongs to Melody so there’ll only be 3 for sale.

June 24, 2007 at 3:16 am #591831I love the griff, but I would want something a little different 😉 I also need to get an ochiba koi done by you at some point (saves money for when you are able to take commissions).
I hear you on the little brushes. The one I’m doing for a friend is taking me forever (being out of commission from being sick for over a week didn’t help) and I’ll be doing another one similar, probably for sale. It definitely makes the eyes cross after 6-8 hours @_@
June 24, 2007 at 3:25 am #591832Beautiful griff, Arlla! I really like this one. And I was even educated by it! I’d never heard of those tigers before, and hadn’t ever noticed that Cheryl’s tiger av was a different tiger… But your stuff’s always very pretty… I love the bald eagle griff that I have from you!

AAH! 😀 You have the bald eagle? Were you on the forum then?? I sold him right before I moved – I was all in a flurry at that time. 0_o Thanks for mentioning it again because I wouldn’t have realized that was you! ^_^ It makes me so happy when my babies stay in the forum family! I was particularly fond of that one, too….
P.S. GAARA=LOVE <3 you have awesome taste in avatars!"He that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom."

YAY! 😀 I LOVE doing koi-rins! Or koi dragons.
Or koi ANYthing!
And a little different is GOOD – painting the exact same thing over again is boring."He that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom."
