Well of course, everything is nicer in person. But then again, it could be the eyes.

i think its because it doesn’t have those great blood red eyes to contrast with the gold. think of how different this piece looks in comparison to the gold emperor. the spectral eyes totally changes the mood of the gold to be very subtle…..

I still can’t stand the Spectral eyes!!! I know some like them but they are spooky to me!!

My flash tends to wash out the Gold. I’m sorry, but that’s the best photo I can get. It is really rich and has some purple flash and brown on it too. There is purple across its nose too. Very pretty.
