Woo hoo! I am getting my first regular production Gold OW sent to me for stock, so I’ll get a photo on my web page when I get it.
If anybody wants one, they are $260 plus shipping. I will have a 10% off sale on them through May 5th, and I will let you put this guy on layaway with the discount (no refunds). π
Edit: Sorry, I messed up on the price.
April 30, 2007 at 7:46 pm #490726April 30, 2007 at 7:50 pm #568859Oh, exciting! Now I really have to pick a color for my OW.
April 30, 2007 at 7:53 pm #568860Sqeeel! I need to get one. I’ll have to wait a week or two since I’ve spent way to much money this week, lol.
April 30, 2007 at 8:14 pm #568861I’ll take one, emerald. You know where to send the PayPal invoice. π
May 1, 2007 at 6:56 am #568862$230? Why does everything seem so cheap? *Ponders* Maybe cuz the limited ones are $300. $230 is great!! π
May 1, 2007 at 11:16 am #568863Sad, isn’t it when $144 and $230 sound like bargains!!! Do you think we have a problem??? 8)

I think so. π I remembered that the limited production griffins were $230, so I realize $244 would be too much. It just seems that $144 is too little. I am glad, though. Now more people can afford them. $144 is alot to some folks and I think paying the limited prices has got me immuned a little bit. For the OW, I guess I am used to the $300. $230 seems so cheap now!
May 1, 2007 at 11:47 am #568866Well, if you compare to the old peacocks, those were $190. So $230 is actually quite a jump. π

I didnt look at it that way. I dont think I ever bought an OW from the store. I bought an emerald after it was retired and it was $250 or so.
May 1, 2007 at 12:19 pm #568868I paid $280 for my emerald OW. My offer. π π But I always compare new prices to store prices, not special editions, even though my collection consists half-half of both.

You got yours long after they were retired, though. That is a good/fair price. I got mine from Grandio or Armicks while it was still in stock. They had raised the prices after they retired them back in 2001, I think it was? Now I would be very happy to get one for $280!
May 1, 2007 at 12:28 pm #568870I bought Pip’s and offered her what I’d seen the last two go for on E-Bay (without a hidden auction that went to Arlla). It was fair. I think he’s very much worth the money. I love my Old Warriors.
May 1, 2007 at 2:20 pm #568871Sorry. I messed up on the price. It should be $260, not $230. My bad. π³
I fixed the original posting too.
