Ever seen the Darwin Awards? Not only are people not smarter than that, they’re actually a LOT stupider than that sometimes!
If the movie’s not fake, I hope the people in charge got a world of trouble and the idiot holding the plate learned his lesson. But if it is fake… Like SPark said, I hope the real thing never ends up on http://www.darwinawards.com. But then again, sometimes I’m not too sure about the validity of some stories there, either.
The stories on there all say if they’ve been confirmed or not. Confirmed means they have rock-solid proof that it actually did happen.

I hope it IS fake…”hey, this will be funny!” My boyfriend says the Iraqies can’t shoot you if you’re standing 20 feet away from them; they’re horrible shots and that’s why they use carbombs etc.
He’s barely out of basic training and he knows that, so maybe the video is making fun of the fact that they can’t shoot. Why would they get someone from the other side to help out anyway? Why not have some american guy shooting at the plate. Either way….

Well, they are in Afganistan, not Iraq, so he is not an enemy. He is supposed to be a sharpshooter 😯 Guess that doesn’t say much for their marksmanship skillz.

Ahhh, be careful what you’re saying, Ski. There are some excellent Iraqi snipers out there with quite a few American KIAs to their consciences, God damn them. Keep in mind that the AK isn’t known for its accuracy. It’s robust, but if you’re holding one made, say, in Romania or China, you’d be better off using a Garand or Mauser.

Not Iraqui… Afghanistan. Thats where the video was from. The guy shooting was from there, not Iraq. I am sure both places have better shooters. You cant get much worse…
