Not the cast! Our friends worked in the “creature shop” making the props. The closest I ever got to the actors was puppeting a latex version of Ruth Oliver.
July 27, 2009 at 4:54 pm #777101So, you were like in the same library room that they filmed in?! Or was it one of those, filmed here inserted there things? I love Bill Murray and Dan Akroid! Now, I would figure that cute little Slimer ghost as an almost your style thing…I like Slimer! π³
July 28, 2009 at 7:09 pm #777102Yeah,I think I would have been a little curious and nosey about the set myself.I would have probably gotten thrown off. π
The “creature shop” must have been a blast to work in. 8)Every act matters. No matter how smallπ

No I didn’t do slimer. That was the famous Steve Johnson.( Linda Frobos and I both gave input on slimer’s appearance though! We agreed that the eyes and nose were much too small on the original version
That was filmed in a rented industrial building. They filmed it on a bluescreen and inserted it, I think. We did get to see some of the sets though, such as the full sized Goser temple, and the apartment hall where the terror dog was.
I was just hanging around, and getting an occasional odd job, I wasn’t officially “working”. Kind of a “groupie”.
John and his dad Nick Alberti actually worked on it.July 29, 2009 at 6:25 am #777104Oh! The temple was pretty cool in the movie though! I like that type of stuff. Ancient Egyptian, Greek and the Orient. Like you can’t tell by the latest PYO I have been working on for Griffinlover. π
Groupie or not, it was actually pretty cool movie! I still watch it every time I catch it on TV. π
And that is really neat thing to know about you working on that movie too Melody! πJuly 29, 2009 at 1:13 pm #777105WindstoneCollector wrote:Oh! The temple was pretty cool in the movie though! No, the part we did was filmed before a green screen and added later to the library. It was just the part where she stretches up and transforms into a monster ghost.
