😉 HUGS. we know you would never go into a store and do that. I belive that is why no one said anything when you had made that comment in the first place, we all knew you were not REALLY thinking of doing it and that it was just out of humor to lighten purpledodgies mood.hugs.
I was just making the point that he was making it sound like this was way more then what it really was.

May 11, 2007 at 8:37 pm #572484I’m going to go down to the store and pick it up when it gets there (btw its an hour away). All they had to do was just tell me what was going on. I never got a straight answer as to what was going on. I would never send anyone there to break up stuff. It really is a neat little store and the lady that is always there is so very nice but after I get my griffin I’m never going there again. I’ve never had a buisness treat me this way and its just shameful. I didn’t say the name of the store in this thread because I wanted to see how this resolved before I named them but looks like the store owner did it themselves.

I’m sure tsija just thought the store coming on the forum and chewing us out over things we would never do in the first place was funny, as in really stupid.

May 11, 2007 at 10:38 pm #572494Wow, I missed alot this week didn’t I? That was an awful way to treat a customer. I would take the griffen and run. (When it comes in) This could have been handled so much better.
I work in a large store, and I know just how easy it is to overlook a simple thing like letting the customer know how things are progressing. But, the best thing for this store Manager to do in that case is appologise in person either on the phone or by email. Phone would be so much better. Then let the customer know what is happening. Hey things happen I’ve been on both sides of the coin. I’ve gone to a different buisness over less. But, to come onto a forum and leave a post like those two was immature, and has no place in the buisness world. It may seem that people were picking on the buisness but, it’s a public forum! There was no mention of which buisness it was that I saw.
I’m so happy that things are getting resolved. I’m sorry that such a simple problem componded into such a fiasco.

I have had several issues like this remember how poorly BT was treated before they joined?? We all need to remain civil. I do wish you the best of luck here PD I know what it is like to not know what is going on. I hope your griffon arrives perfect this time.
