Gee thank you Bodine and everyone for your kind words.
My Lt.total hip replacement will be last week in July.
In 1994 walking into my job as a Pediatric R.N. I was hit by a really old Chevy truck who hit me on the right;I was thrown 10-15 feet, and was hit again…
Was a full Code Blue; numerous injuries, was in Physical Therapy 5 days a week for 1 year.
I have the unique albeit weird status of not only being on the Code Blue team professionally but a recipient of it as well…
Mercifully I don’t remember being struck.
My hard work paid off; I went back to full clinical !!!
My Physical Therapist Allen told me when I turn 40’s to 50’s year old I would have the hip of a 90 year old on the side I landed on; sadly he was right.
I cannot imagine what it will be like to not have this severe pain sitting, standing walking !!!!
Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and wishes !!
I will be off work 1 month so will be on WE LOTS!! LOL!!
