No one here is a loser because we are all a family
I have felt that same weay many times, left and was silent while workign things out but we all come back here to vent and we all understand that
TRUST me I have 2 jobs and still worried how I’m going to eat at times
Today I was having a misunderstanding about wht my boss expected otu of me and I ws told next week we will have a union meeting about it for documentantion etc which can be VERY SCARY but I gotthings smoothed over, at least I HOPE I did.
I answer 90% of the calls in my center at least that is how it feels and I was not aware that when an esclation comes in I’m to drop everything and just work on that ticket until finished and I’m so busy that I call the field managers first for help to get things out when I’m supposed to try first but don’ have the time
I’m sure it will all work out from another forum member 1 step in front of the repo man

BIG HUGS!! MG, I am here for you, and I know things are tough right now. 🙁 Do you have a place to go after this? I know that things won’t be the same, but do you have someone to turn to to get help? Also-as hard as it might be-are there some government programs that could help you out until you can find a job? You are not a loser! Things in this life happen for a reason, and you are not alone in trying to attempt something and failing. It is very easy to think that this is impossible to get through, but you will pick yourself back up, and you will fave wonderful times ahead of you! *SMOTHER* If you need to talk, PM me, or get me through FB. Your friends will understand! We are all here for you!!

I’m so sorry to hear about all of this. You say Hallmark won’t take you back due to downsizing, well what about contacting their direct competitor…American Greeting Corp? Never know might be worth a shot. 8)

Today’s economy makes it especially hard for people who work in their own business to succeed so please don’t take your “failure” as meaning you are a loser as you are not. So this venture didn’t succeed. To quote a pretty good movie (“Meet the Robinsons”):

From failing you learn, from success…not so much.

And as for the repo people hitting the house, if you are a tenant not your responsibility to contact them about it…that’s the owner’s job. 😛

You’re not a loser. You have such amazing talent (I would have bought the Arab painting, but no money) but what everyone says here is true, it’s not you, it’s the economy. People want pretties, but need what little they get for food and electric. I’m very, very close to going thru exactly what you’re going thru. Bankruptcy isn’t so bad (dun did that once and may have to do it again) not because of mismanagement, but because of no work. Think on the bright side, no bills except essentials if you do have to file. 😉

*Waves index finger at MG* No, no, NO……you are most def NOT a loser.

You went out on your own and attempted a venture that makes many other people quake in their boots at the very thought. You at least TRIED, where most others wouldn’t even think of that. And believe me, bankruptcy isn’t the total end of the world. It’s bad, yes, but once you go through it, you can at least work on getting your credit back to a good status. Will it happen overnight? No. But it *will* eventually. I’m very nearly at the same state of affairs. I’ve been out of work since August, and we can’t cut it on just my husband’s salary alone. Unemployment is a total joke in this state.
But we’ve been beginning to approach the idea of maybe having to file for bankruptcy, too. So if that makes you a loser, well, then you have a LOT of company. 😉
The economy *really* is that bad. One of our band members is a lawyer. He told us last night that he hasn’t been paid by some of his clients in 3 months. He’s basically working for nothing right now, and living off of his savings. A LAWYER. So, it’s bad everywhere.
Hang tough—we are all here for you. I would also have bought one of your paintings if I’d had the cash. Keep plugging; nothing happens for no reason, even if we don’t see that reason right away.
            *BIG HUG*

Everyone, I can’t thank you all enough for your friendship, kindness, emotional support. It means so much more to me than I can express. Yesterday really put everything over the edge for me after seeing the damage on the house from the tow truck and hearing from my angry landlord. I was already feeling depressed that morning, but after that happened I just broke down. I’ve just been so scared with having to file and everything, and having that extra detail happen was not good for me.

I’m doing much better tonight, just trying to regain my reasoning with everything. I knew I just needed to get it all out and lay it on the table with all of my friends here. Normally I would have been reserved about posting such personal information, but I was in such a horrible state of mind that it didn’t matter, I knew I had to get it out. I knew deep down that just getting it out would help, and hearing encouragement from all of you reminding me that things will get better has definitely helped me focus a bit more on the positive rather than all of these negatives. So thanks again everyone, with all of my heart. I can’t tell you how much it means to me. I am so thankful for your friendship, and for all of my friends here on the forum! *Hugs tight*

I agree with what has been said. Don’t let this keep you down. When God closes a door, somewhere He opens a window.

                **big hugs**

You sure are going through a lot, and like everyone one else said there is no way that you are a loser. You had a lot more courage than other people to take that risk. The economy just did not agree with you or anyone else for that matter. My elder sister’s boyfriend just had to shut down his own business.

About taking your anger and frustration out on your friends, well we all do that. 😳 Friends are people we vent and rant to and later apologize to for being difficult and rude.

Keep your head up. I hope things start to improve for you soon.
