Since Melody is painting more gb unis, I wanted to make this thread. I want this to become a MASSIVE thread. Im just using pics of current unis to show what I’d like to see more of, but if my list is missing something OR you want to squeak for something entirely new, post you ideas/pics!!!!
These are grab bag unicorn color schemes/patterns I would like to see more of(or that I have seen squeaking around the forum for more of). Most of the pics here are of GB YOUNG unicorns but I’m squeaking for BOTH Young unicorns and baby unicorns here. Each ‘section’ is separated in a post. I’ll start with fantasy colors….
CALICOS
I know quite a few people want to see more Calicos. I dont see nearly as much excitement for any other color/pattern. ALL Cat related patterns for that matter (anys tabbys, tortoiseshell etc) would probably be well recieved.
PAINT VOMIT
The new rage seems to be these paint-pukey ones. I cant say I agree, but I put them here because I KNOW I’m the minority.
SOLID FANTASY
Blues, Greens and Purples are very popular especially! Lots of people also like weird eye colors, like red, green and silver.
FANTASY APPALOOSA AND DAPPLES
and some dapple butts:
Personally I LOVE the fantasy appaloosas! More please! Especially the silver/grey ones!
BALD FACE FANTASY:
I also LOVE the bald face unis that have been in recent batches! They remind me of fantasy clydesdales and I want MORE!
NON-FANTASY/NORMAL SQUEAKS!
APPALOOSAS
Particularly the bay blanket, varnish, palomino and frost appaloosas…
SOLIDS
Always more room for more buckskins, lighter creamy palominos, FLAXEN LIVER CHESTNUTS(yesyesyesyes!) and Roans!
PINTOS
I normally dont like pintos. BUT I picked out a few even *I* probably wouldnt be sad to get! Epecially the tri-color and the grey pintos. And I know a lot of people like the pintaloosas too!

I have already painted about 70 GB babies that are off the rails, but I can do the rest in colors similar to these.
I’d love to do another batch of normal horse colors too. Kinda miss those.So if paint puke isn’t your thing, wait for the next ones!
So exciting!!! I am just dying for a solid green/blue like Kelpie. She seemed to be a ubiquitous favorite in the last batch….If there are a couple like that in this new batch I will totally try for one. 🙂
Syn I think thats what she’s going to do. When she refers to painting them in ‘colors similar to these’ im fairly sure she’s referring to my first post with the fantasy pictures. Especially since she goes onto to say if I want normals to wait til the next batch(as in, next after this one). I dont think you will have to worry about normal horsey colors in this one!
I would like to add, that I LOVE Unicorns with different eye colours!!
I know there was one GB Young with one blue and one brown eye.

I’m liking the “GB babies that are off the rails” part; it’s the “BUT I can do the rest in colors similar to these” that is worrying me.
I’ll be happy if I can manage to get any. People are ravenous beasts when it comes to these. If there are 70 and there will also be more, that sounds pretty promising though. Will it be 1 per or 2 per customer I wonder?

So cute! It will be neat to see what shows up! I did like Lethe and Atrayel Young GBs, so babies like those would be neat too.
I do hope there is a class photo too, even if it doesn’t come out until after the fact. It’s nice to see them all together! My mom said she’d buy one for me as a birthday present! 🙂
I’m eager to see non-fantasy ones as well in the future. *nods*
Oh YES, the blues! Both fantasy and non-fantasy, everyone seemed to want the blue Unis. Blue roans or sapphire metallic, yay blue!
PAINT VOMIT
Wampus, you have the awesomest way to describe the paint scheme you don’t like! What was the other one? Barfed up crayons? LOVE IT!

(holding my head in despair) Do the NEXT batch in horsey (holding my nose) colors. PLEASE do all of this one batch of babies as weirdos. I have 16 Baby Unis between my eBay and Grab Bag purchases, and not one single one is a fantasy color or pattern. I missed them and was never able to buy one from another member. That should tell you that people have an appetite for them.
