GB Uni help Plz

Hi guys–

I fly out today to go help my dad who went into cardiac arrest over the weekend. If those GB unis go into the store today could someone please try and snag me one. GB uni = crack cocaine in my house. I LOVE them, and these are beyond incredible.

I hope this isn’t a silly question, but how do you hold onto a uni for another member?

Typically you would send your name and address to the volunteer. After they place their own order, they can attempt to order a second unicorn and put YOUR address in and payment method as an MO.

Then you need to note in the “notes” that the unicorn is for someone else and let Susie know what their user name is. Susie can either send them a paypal invoice at this point or they can mail her a MO.

Windstone allows it, but it can be kind of a pain if someone has multiple watchers (then Susie has to cancel orders and figure out how to redistribute the un-needed unicorns), so please make sure you only have one person watching for you! 🙂

Also, you can’t use this as a way to get around the limit (Susie won’t send you the second unicorn for the other person) and you can’t have someone else order a second unicorn for you (unless it’s a gift and they’re sending you THEIR unicorn).

You COULD give the watcher your username/password and they could order directly on your account, but I would STRONGLY advise against that as anyone who logs into your account has access to private information.

Logging into someone else’s account also ties your accounts together in our IP tracker and may get you flagged as a scammer.

I’m not saying anyone is trying to take advantage of the system, but allowing members to order for each other is a privilege and I hope no one abuses it.

I got a unicorn in the first batch, if someone wants me to try to snag one for them pm me. I am out and about this weekend, but will be available for camping the store starting Monday.
