I turned him around today for maintenance, and noticed that 4 of the scales on his spine are colored solid gold. None of the others, just those 4, so it looks really weird (because you have a dragon with a solid red back, and out of nowhere, 4 huge gold scales)–like someone went to give him a gold hilight on his back, but got it real heavy with the airbrush so that there is no blending at all (it makes it look like those 4 scales were deliberately painted solid gold). Anybody else have a dragon with a similar problem?
I can post pics if anybody wants…I just went and looked, and sure enough, 4 scales are gold. Its not totally solid, but it is def noticable if you are looking for it. Different from all the others.
Mine has it too. But mine has them off and on all the way down his back / tail. There are intermitant patches of gold spine scales all the way down.
