You know what im tired of? People forwarding me crap w/o researching it first. The most recent was that I can get cancer if I re-use water bottles, or if I put them in the freezer and use them again. Good grief… could people please not be so gullible and not fill my inbox with stupid crap? It makes me ashamed that I am friends with people who believe stuff like that. The ‘get to know you’ ones are not as bad. At least its personalized and not a knee-jerk forward. Thats something.
the cancer from water bottles sounds like an email that would end up in my trash and I rarely trash emails(I’m a hoarder). As for chain mail I rarely forward stuff like that, though some of the good ones I like reading.
I’m with Skigod. Tear-jerker stories are fine, but what really gets me is that people can’t take a minute to check snopes or the like before hitting the forward button and spamming 50 people with a heap of falsehoods. (I think I’ve embarrassed my mom enough now that she checks before she forwards me something)
Can’t abide chain mail. Doesn’t matter now nicely done it is, any attempts at manipulating me into forwarding something means it takes a trip to the trashcan. 👿
Yeah, one of my ex-friends kept sending me that crap. Everytime I would tell her to check Snopes before sending this stuff. I finally did have to block her. And she kept sending all those warnings to women to not leave their cars running, not help any strangers, basically all these urban myths where the woman would die a horrible death for doing anything. I’m sorry but I am not going to live a life where I’m afraid to step out the door because there might be someone lurking in the bushes to ambush me. Or not give a person a hand because they might be the one in a billion killer…
I’m glad nobody sends me stuff like that. That would drive me nuts. If it’s gonna happen it’s gonna happen living life in constant fear of everything it’s going to change it. So you mine as well just live.
I usually don’t pass on Fwd e-mails, as they take time to fill out or I’ve generally seen them before. Yesterday I did pass along a chain mail to every Windstoner in my address book, just to see which addresses are still valid. Sorry to those of you who abhor the thing; it won’t happen again. I know my contact info is up-to-date. 🙂

I got like 6 of them from some of you…And, I feel really bad, I don’t know who all of you are. I got one From Mmloda (I can’t forget your real name, it’s so cool) GB, and then the rest were sorta a blank to me. 🙄 Sorry if I didn’t know you by email, I have a hard time keeping track here. 😳
Spam away, I delete what doesn’t look interesting anyway. XDYou can always set up a rule in your inbox for emails that come in. They can be set up by email address or even by keywords.

Don’t feel bad, this thread is not here to bash any one that sends them. some people do like reading and sending them on, I just happen to not enjoy them but I would never bash some one else for enjoying them and sending them. 🙂
I got one. I don’t really like them, so I only fill them out and send them back to whoever sent it to me. I figure they wanted to know the answers since they sent it to me. 😀
