I’m a fan of these guys too! I have some scattered around my room and a pair of ‘bobblehead’ ones with fringe all over them. I think they’d be a great compliment to the Ki-rins!

Oh hell yea! Id definitely LOVE to see a Foo Dog. Personally, Id like to see Melody do a nice normal sitting guardian Foo and then a different pose for a PYO.

Melody, this does have real possibilities considering how well the Oriental Dragons have been collected over the years and are still being sought vigorously.

But, I know youre busy and we mice squeak at you for everything. But just pencil this down in your “possible to do list” to appease 😀

EDIT: very good for haunted houses, if you have trouble with one or plan to enter one. Lore has them ward off ghosts. But, mine would need a karmic adjustment cause I welcome good, kind spirits in my home 😛

I haven’t collected Foo Dogs “yet” But I’d be interested They’d go great with the Oriental dragons.

The way you sculpt hair/fur and such, Melody, you would make an AWESOME foo dog. I’ve wished you would make one for a long time. What I love so much about the orientals creatures you sculpt is that we never see these critters crafted or drawn in such an anatomically realistic way, except by you! I’ve NEVER seen a foo dog that looked like a real animal… you’rs would be beautiful and cute and fierce all at the same time, I bet. 😉

Shisa are all over the place here! If not the dogs themselves, then other characters (Hello Kitty, Monchhichi, etc) dressed up as them. I’d love to get Windstone shisa. However they’re traditionally an outdoor ornament, so I’d really like a garden-ready set. I’d take an indoor set though too. Any size.

And Melody, you have to make two of them. One with the mouth open to suck in the evil spirits and one mouth closed so the spirits are trapped.
