To be fair to all, I’m going to do it like this: If you want him and agree to the following, then just post that you want to be added to the list. I’ll put everyone’s name in a box and pull one. Luck of the draw!
Terms:
– This griffin was done as a test paint and was only ever intended to be a test paint. It is sloppy and is not representitive of my paint job quality nor of Windstone’s quality. As such I am NOT allowed to sign it. You understand that it was done as a test paint to test different brands of paint and painting techniques and at no time should it be the basis for comparison to Windstone’s quality or my quality of a finished piece.
– I don’t have a felt pad or a box for this fella. He came to me before they had felt pads or boxes made, back in the early days of PYOs- before they were even selling them.
– Whoever wins him agrees to pay for shipping to their location. Ordinarily I would be happy to do this out of pocket, but with my move looming overhead I just can’t afford it. I will only ask exact shipping costs and not a penny more. I pack well! Only ‘sign up’ if you are willing an able to pay shipping.
– His eyes aren’t glued in yet, so you can either choose any eye color you want, or you can leave it to my best judgment!
So to sum it up- he’s unsigned, no felt pad, no box, you pay shipping, but otherwise free. 🙂
The griffin in question is the middle one in this photo:
I’ll take names until Sunday night. I need to ship this guy off next week!
Edit: To be fair, those that I have already sent a piece to- please don’t enter and give others a chance. 🙂
That’s a test paint?? 😯 He’s so pretty!
I can’t enter, but good luck to everyone!! 😀
November 3, 2007 at 12:26 am #633534I’m in ^^ I hope I win he is very pretty 😮
November 3, 2007 at 1:51 am #633535Please add me to the drawing as well! I’ve been looking for a soft feather griffon for ages, and kicking myself for not investing when they first came out 🙂 Besides, your ‘sloppy’ paint jobs make my one PYO look like I colored it with a jumbo crayon!
Thank you so much!
Forever seeking: Blackwatch the raffle Old Warrior, Jennifer Miller's pieces, and GB Baby unis!
November 3, 2007 at 2:06 am #633536Please throw my name in the hat, too.
Thank you for the opportunity–he’s beautiful! 😀
November 3, 2007 at 2:28 am #633537You can add my name too please! I have thought about starting to collect griffins, and this would be a great first peice!
November 3, 2007 at 2:49 am #633538Can I be added to the list? …even though I abandoned you guys for a long time 😳
November 3, 2007 at 2:57 am #633539I’d like to be added too ^^
