Would it be possible to add an A to Z menu to the first page of this list? Right now, if I’m looking for a specific user, I need to pick a page at random and work back or forward from there until I get to the right page. Not that big a deal, but it would be a small improvement.
Am I making any sense?
September 4, 2012 at 2:41 am #885923Yes, I have been meaning to have the web guys add that feature. Thanks for the reminder.
September 4, 2012 at 2:48 am #885924Kind of like the find a dealer page starts by a listing of the state abbreviations? If they can make that change, I don’t see why they couldn’t make this change. And I agree (especially since I have SLOOOOW connection – anything that cuts down on the number of clicks is a win in my book 🙂 )
September 4, 2012 at 6:44 am #885930I’d appreciate this too. It would make PMing people far easier. If I want to message someone now I have to look for a thread I know they’ve posted in before and the find a post of theirs so I can click their name.

You can also go to “Search”, click the “User” tab near the top and type in the person’s Forum name. That will pull up the person, and then you can go to their page and send a PM that way. 🙂

A-Z search capabilities would be useful.
I actually missed when you could sort by join date. That was always fun to see who joined when, how new a member was (more for transaction checking), and just because it was interesting to see. Probably more useful for some of us old time forum members (I feel old!) who remember a member who has been less active and you know who they are, but can’t quite remember what their name was. I usually have to hunt through old threads now to find the names of older members, since some have similar names to other members. 😛
