I just saw the Forest Flame Kirins that Jordan painted.
I really like the combination of green scales and white fur but I think they would be much prettier without the orange/red on them.
Maybe he could do another kirin with only white and green? That would be really great 🙂January 28, 2013 at 8:57 pm #892409Really? I think the orange is what really makes them appealing!

January 28, 2013 at 11:35 pm #892416See now I wished they had some of the red on their faces and manes.
I really like Kirins with stuff on their faces… but I would bid on these if I had any money!
January 28, 2013 at 11:52 pm #892418Jordan is a girl, and may or may not be painting more?
I haven’t been able to get Patricia to commit to posting artwork in the gallery space. Her illustration art is really great too. And I will have to see about Jordan. She just moved up to Washington and we will see if she can continue to paint. There are a couple of her pieces waiting to go on eBay that are really nice, so I hope she can keep painting for us.

January 29, 2013 at 7:55 pm #892455Yeah the orange definitely ruins it for me – the orange and green combination reminds me of something I would find in my grandparent’s living room in the ’70s >< I think a green and cream color combination would be lovely though!

Why has Jordan just started painting and then might stop?
January 29, 2013 at 8:52 pm #892462I actually like the color scheme, but it’s the painted hooves that throw me off. They clash with the other colors.
