True, but then it would be more like a Flanther.

“Panther” is just a generic term, and can refer to either leopards, jaguars, or pumas. 8)

I would also love to see the Flions get a update and new color release. I would be very interested in a Flioness (white or black), or maybe even a panther (a Fanther?) 😆 . I think something like that would look awsome with peacock wings.

OOOO!! Yes, a black leopard with peacock wings, that would be awesome! Especially since my b/f’s animal character is a black leopard. 😀 You weren’t around in the 50’s, but then black panthers were considered the ultimate in “tacky” decor. There were velvet paintings of them, and things called “TV lights” shaped like black panthers that you put on top of your tv. I adore that stuff!

“adore” or “abhore”?I love them! I have terrible taste.

I didn’t have time to read much yesterday and I didn’t get on lastnight…My starter went out in my car and so I had to pay a girl $10 just to give me a ride home (and by the time that happened I was so frustrated that I didn’t even want to read, I went to bed instead)… 😯 Now I have to call in today and figure out a way to get the POS home…

          😯
So how many of us had our vehicles break down this weekend? Alternator and that toasted the serpentine belt for me. At least I only had to get her about 15 Kilometers to “Home” and she’d start, but it took me 2 hours to get her that far, had to stop every 2 min to let her cool down for another 15 because of overheating. Also couldn’t drive her myself due to the fact the Power steering is connected to that Serpent, and I’m certain it took more than 30lbs of pressure to try and get that sucker to turn) aswell as the alternator, battery, and coolant systems… Umm actually pretty much everything else is too 🙁 To boot I then found out my carpet is defnitly a casulty of last weeks Hot water Tank explosion!!, Not just Mildew, but Black Mold!! I’m hoping that the landlady can get it replaced ASAP, Before the cat has to have major Vet bills and it starts affecting the rest of the “Breathing” inhabitans of the house!! Sigh!! Someyears it just doesn’t feel worth getting the new calender. 🙄

Melody, do you think you could post some pics for us showing the profile of the early (original, non-warped) Flion’s head? I’m curious to see how it compares to the Flion I have.

I think a female flion would be cool. Very beautiful. I’m imagining her laying on her belly, stretched out, with her head up and ears kinda back in a relaxed half-asleep state. Lions are so lazy!I posted pics of an old flion and a new one in my gallery.

Aww….I want one with a crown….and I would still buy the newer one because the one I have looks similar to it anyway…

              hehe…

but then again….I’m not that picky…

              #570661

I think the crown is cool too!!! 😀

                  Dang, I love that flion!

I like it with the crown as well.

I really like the one with the crown! Even without the crown, it still would look really neat (I am not fond of the poofy mane on the foreheads of the production pieces–they remind me of elvis).

My flion is really warped, he looks worse than either of those two! (IMO)

I’m waiting anxiously for a flion off ebay to arrive…..I’ve never seen one in person so I’m pretty excited! He’s chipped but I should be able to restore him pretty easily! Wish he’d get here. I think I’d like a darker color for the flion but going lighter doesn’t excite me as much….I don’t know….I may change my mind if I saw a painted test or something…hmmmm. Spots or stripes would seem odd to me with the mane but if you did a she-flion you could do all sorts of things color wise cause there’d be no mane to worry about.

I went and compared my two flions this morning and it looks like I have an earlier one and a later one. I always thought the one had a poofy face but never actually compared them before.

I have to agree with Pam I don’t like the new style mane, I like the older mane with the definition on it, and the crown is also fun!! But who else thinks their Emperor would think the Flion’s getting a little too big for his britches and needs a Squishing?

So do the older flions have a crown or just the prototype?
