Hey everyone! I don’t know if this has been brought up in the forum or not, I’m sure it probably has but I can’t find it. Does anyone know where you can buy the flatback Swarovski crystals that Windstone uses on their pieces? Thanks very much!

My next question is does anyone know what sizes of crystals are used on the female griffin? She has one on her collar, and two on her tail. I think the smallest one is below her “tail mane” thingie. That’s the size I’m looking for! 🙂
I’m not sure of the exact sizes offhand, but I know that they are not flat backed crystals!

My art: featherdust.comFYI, the reason why I’m trying to find out is because when my Female Bengal Griffin came in, she was missing her olivine crystal, just below the tail mane. I’m just trying to find out where I can get a replacement crystal. I e-mailed Melody yesterday but didn’t receive a reply yet. I’m sorry to be a pest about this! It just bothers the heck out of me that the crystal is missing after I dropped a bootyload of moolah on her… 😳
They sent me a gem for my Peacock Fledgling who was missing one. And I know they’ve sent other supplies out, not just for factory goofups, but for repairs long after the critters left the factory.
I don’t know who’s the official person to pester though. 😕

Nah, I wouldn’t pester (and honestly I didn’t think I was, given my situation! :wink:) I was informed through PM tonight that the reason I couldn’t get an answer is because in the past there was an issue of unauthorized repairs & repaints on production pieces that looked like they were from Windstone but were not. I can assure you 100% that this is not the case. Believe me I know better, being an artist myself I’ve had my own fair share of art theft/unauthorized references, etc. I don’t even know how to repair a Windstone! LOL I’ll ask Susie.
Yep she hooked me up with a pink crystal for my gothic unis collar, all I had to do was take a pic of the hole where the stone should be and sent it to her.
