yeah, its tough when they DO go so well together!! i had that problem with doing some black dragons with color… keeping them from looking like any of the current or potential black n color combos! gah! >.< in some cases we start to run out of color/pattern options! lol!
I like the filigree on the body, and I especially like the “eye of Ra” thing you have going on! I’m not esp. fond of these colors, but I really like the pale face blending to the darker body. This would be great as an autumn dragon (yellow face, to oranges, reds & browns!)…

VERY BEAUTIFUL Cat! I LOVE HIM/HER!!! I wish I could afford him right now…I am going to have to sell a couple of the Violet Flames that I bought as EARLY x-mas gifts! 🙁
But I agree with you DJ & others! Very beautiful, but tough when it comes to not catching something close to others 😕 . I actually had that same problem! EVEN though I changed it around…like you were talking about with the black…I LOVE black LOL! And blues and purples are my FAVE! I got in twubble 🙁 on one of mine awhile back, thats ok though..he was my fave ive done anyhow and didnt really want to sell him, but I needed the money…now, he is still with me looking over me (giving me the evil eye LOL)…I have since named him “troublemaker” now 😆 😆
