Ok sometimes you night not want a candle in your candle lamp . Well I bought some flameless tea lights for my Windstone Candle Lamps and they look great .
The ones I found change color , about 5 colors and in my spooky grimalkin , my regular grimalkin and my cat wizard they look great. Some of the colors don’t come thru the eyes so it looks like they are blinking or openning or closing their eyes . And on the grims it’s spooky .I got the color changing ones at Menards . They didn’t even say they change colors . Found that out when I tried them .

I have a bunch of colored ones as well as the normal amber and white. My pine tree is full of floating lights at halloween 😀September 16, 2011 at 8:36 pm #856761Yes so much safer if you have kids or pets or can’t have candles . They look so pretty too . In any color.
September 17, 2011 at 5:14 am #856820That is a really great idea! I love burning my candle lamps, but I rarely am in one room long enough to really enjoy them, so I don’t burn them often for this reason-I often tend to get distracted and forget about stuff like this, so that’s another reason. Flamless ones would be perfect for me. And too, you dont have to worry about having a heat clearance like you do with a candle. You could put a flameless candle in and have it sit a few inches from a shelf and no worries about it burning the shelf above it.
There is no Menards in Texas, but I’ll check Wal-Mart and Target next time Im out that way
September 17, 2011 at 1:54 pm #856834Some of them are made better than others; I wish I could tell you what brand I have but the packaging is long gone. We had some cheap ones at one point that were very dim that I didn’t care for. The ones I have now cost a bit more but they are brighter and have a more realistic candle flicker than the other ones (that just sort of blinked).

My art: featherdust.comSeptember 17, 2011 at 2:21 pm #856836I got mine from QVC. They flicker nicely. Wasn’t to happy with the rechargable ones. Battery operated worked better. You can get them with timers too.
September 17, 2011 at 5:21 pm #856846Micheals Craft Stores have them, especially at this time of year. 😉 I also got all of my colored ones on ebay for really cheap something like 5 years ago and they all still work!
