Yep, that looks richer and smoother. Great job! 😀 I think that’s the first rainbow PYO dragon that really appeals to me.

ahhhhh! that is a looooot better, thank you. I really like how you broke up the rainbow scales with the black, it reallllly looks very good. hmmmmmmmm i wonder what that next one is going to be.

*goes off whining cause I don’t have another PYO to paint*

Not quite sure yet.. I was thinking that I would do blue over the orange… maybe fade the blue from light to dark in some areas.. I’ll see how it goes…

Ok a little update on the orange one… I have really done any fading from light to dark with the blue yet but I’m going to soon…

if you lightly add a light yellow over your orage, really lightly, it will help your orange to really blend nicely with your blue.

I must say, I like the wings. The combo of orange and blue doesn’t make the expected muddy brown, but rather there’s sharp specks of both colors showing. Nice!

How much do you think my rainbow would go for on Ebay? I don’t know if I would want to but it on ebay but if I did… hhmm… I look at it and I like it but then sometimes I look at it and it seems kinda childish..

let me see if this helps:

see how the one with the yellow looks…let me see..
ah sheesh, i can’t think of the word at the moment.

yellow can blend with blue and orange so when you add it to your color scheme it will pull the two complimentary colors together better to make a more pleasing affect. I hope that made more sense…

this is one of those things i have a hard time explaining.
