I can’t tell if I’ve seen any Spring birds yet. With exception of the pigeons, I don’t know any of these birds…. Though I think I saw our equivalent of a Robin on Monday. Pretty blue bird with a red belly. I need to get a local bird book.

Ooohhh….the blue bird with a red belly sounds like it’s pretty!

Where I live in se FL the seasons don’t change much in the winter it may go down to the lower 60’s occasionally but mostly around the mid 70’s to lower 80’s and in the summer as high as the lower 90’s. I have lived here almost 10 years and it has reach 100 only twice. I live about two miles inland and we always have a nice ocean breeze so even summer don’t seem real hot. I grew up in MO and I hate cold weather that is why I retired in FL

My late husband and I first visited FL in the mid 60’s and it was a lifetime dream for both of us to live in FL someday. Unfortunately he passed away but when I retired I moved there.

I am so sorry he didn’t get to live in Florida. I am sure he would be happy that you are though! It really sounds lovely there. KC and I went to Florida about 9 months ago for our honeymoon, and we absolutely loved it!! That was the first long vacation we had ever been on together!

It’s Spring when the Pussywillows come out!!! 😀

I scanned these, playing with my new scanner 😛

Anyone know what tyoe of tree make these?

Uh . . . I always thought it was a willow tree, but it occurs to me I’ve never seen a willow tree with anything but leaves or bare branches. Maybe it’s a different type of willow than the weeping willows we have in the neighborhood. 😕

Like he just decided to do to us again!! Well the trees were budding, and the grass greening, but now everything is under a thick Duvet again!!

We still haven’t completely gotten rid of the snow from the last dump. And we’re supposed to get more on Tuesday. Ick!!

I dunno about robins, but I saw a spider yesterday. When they get brave enough to creep about the outdoors, I figure it’s pretty much spring 😆
