First Quest Videos

We have received six videos so far for the first quest. Great job, everyone!

OMG! I love all the videos!!!! (except mine of course) Now I am realizing how many things I could have done or said better, things I missed while editing, GAH! Well, I’m crossing my fingers anyway! Great job though everyone!!! I really enjoyed seeing all your work areas!!!

Especially since I’ve commissioned most of you guys for PYOs at some point ^_^ It’s like I can visualize what you were doing while my PYOs were getting brought to life!! It’s cool! ^_^

After the contest I think I’ll do a post with photos from my video and photos of the muse to explain the technique I wast trying to show better. there was a lot of information I wanted to add and explain better, but I only had one muse..and 5 minutes is sooo short!

I can’t believe you guys got so much information in your videos. My jaw really dropped.

Yah, it was really hard trying to get all the info in. Each take I did had different bits of info in it and I just had to go with the one I thought was best. But there’s no way I could actually do a painting tutorial in under 5 minutes! LOL! XD

Sometime next year after I am moved, I’ll probably make a longer painting one (like my “Muse in progress” thread, only a video this time).

I’m totally enjoying everyone’s videos! 🙂

I started out with 3 hours of footage O.O Needless to say…much was cut! I even cut my intro out. I thought I kept it short, but it was 3 minutes worth =/ So the video I put in was the hyper speed condensed version! 😉

When we vote, do we vote for the video that was the most entertaining or for the one that taught us the most? I learned and/or giggled from every one of the videos, it’s going to be hard to vote!!

I started with about 3-4 hours of footage since I did sit and paint a phoenix straight out for the video. I cut it SOOOO MUCH OUT I feel like I missed vital information here and there I would have wanted to explain, but I sounding like a micromachines commercial bad enough as it was! LOL! Since I was using a Flip Camera I ended up with 62 short videos I had to compile into one 5 minute ship wreck! hahaha!

Well, sounding like a chipmunk on speed perhaps explains why my cats would NOT LEAVE ME ALONE! LOL!

And literally, Snickers was purched on my back for about 45 minutes worth of videos. I also JUST noticed, I actually caught her on tape jumping to the couch to GET on my back in the first place!
