I found some of my drawings, from when I was around 11 or 12 year old. Now, let me preface this by saying that I don’t have anything against fairy folk ha!ha! These drawings go with a series of short stories I wrote when I was in grade school. I have the drawings, but lost the short stories.
This was a fun stroll down memory lane!!
Wanted: "Dragon Fruit" Male Dragon ~ "Fire Berry", "Paradise", "Dragon Fruit", "Tie Dye" ~ The brighter, the better!

Those are really nice!! There’s so much content in those drawings!
October 24, 2015 at 11:35 am #936318I wish I had drawings from when I was young but my life has taken too many broken roads to have been able to hang onto any.I believe my earliest were of horses.I would trace the pictures out of my coloring books after I colored them all so I could color them again…but that was many, many years ago. 😀
This is the only copy I have of one I did for one of my sisters but this was when I was around 25 so I guess this is the earliest one I have.
Every act matters. No matter how small💞

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.October 25, 2015 at 1:21 am #936343Some of my earliest drawings were of horses, as well… and I also tend to draw them facing left. Even now, though I force myself to draw things facing right as well.
My mom tells me that when I was in preschool, when other kids were scribbling, I was drawing stick figures with clothing and hair. But aside from an art project in day care when I was a kindergartner (we drew beach scenes in pastels, and left them out in the rain), I don’t remember much, until I learned how to draw a horse head from one of my uncles. So yeah, it was lots of horses after that!
Later, through about second and fifth grade it was unicorns and dragons, especially ‘evil’ looking unicorns, with fangs, scimitar horns, and barbed tails. Monsters and various strange critters were added in around fifth grade onward, especially on my school work. Unfortunately, like most of my art up till I was in 8th grade and into high school, they all got thrown away by my mother. She really only kept my school artwork, that cookie cutter type stuff that every other student did. Though there are a few things among that stuff that included my own drawing skills, like a watercolor of two rams. I had a reference, but for a second grader that is still pretty darn good!
In middle and high school the dragon, monster and unicorn parade continued. I still have some of that stuff, most of it is in storage, but some of it is here at the house. I will see what I can scrounge up.
