I was just wondering, how are the fires/smoke from the fires affecting you and your family and the windstone team at the warehouse? are things ok?

We are fine. The big fire affected San Diego, which is south of us. Pretty smoky here, though. The destruction from that fire is terrifying!
October 24, 2007 at 8:05 am #6289110_0 No kidding!! Glad your safe and sound – hope it all stays away from you!

-J R R TolkienOctober 24, 2007 at 12:46 pm #628912It really is terrible the destruction caused by those fires. I was watching Fox News last night, and I think they said over 600 miles of land have been burned so far! Hopefully those winds die down soon, so they can contain them better.
October 24, 2007 at 7:01 pm #628913I feel SO sorry for all the victoms. I KNOW from personal experience what they all will have to go thru. I would NOT want to wish this upon anyone
October 24, 2007 at 9:01 pm #628914I saw it on the news this morning. I am so glad to hear you are all safe! 😀
October 25, 2007 at 4:55 am #628915Was anybody else affected? I found out that Benz, our mold maker had to evacuate, but they are ok and his home wasn’t damaged.
October 25, 2007 at 2:23 pm #628916Thank goodness he and his family is okay!
Those fires are just unbelievable. I can’t even imagine the damage they have caused. Already over 1 billion dollars worth according to the news.
I work in financial aid for one of the biggest online colleges in the US… and 2 of our campuses in CA had to be closed down because of the fires.
October 25, 2007 at 9:21 pm #628917I am glad to hear that everybody at Windstone is OK. I read in the paper this morning that some of the fires were arson. I can’t imagine anybody being that low of a lowlife if they catch him/her I hope they throw the book at them.
October 26, 2007 at 3:03 am #628918I live 60 miles Southwest of New Orleans and we were affected by Katrina….and Rita…..
For those of your staff who are in fire prone areas, or who may be affected by the fires, if you need anything, please let me know!
The people in all the states, but especially the people of California, Oregon, Washington, Texas and many others….you all came to our aid!
If there is anything that I can help any of you or your staff with in a time of need…I will do my best.
I am hoping and praying that the fires do not affect any of your staff beyond what has happened! Be safe and I will keep you in my thoughts!!!! Take care!
