Firebird Griffin for Arlla

There’s something about it that still bothers me. This was one of the most difficult paint jobs I’ve ever had to do. The paint just SO didn’t want to cooperate with me for some reason. Every cool idea I had the griff apparently shot down and this is how it turned out. What do you think?

Only in exchange for an army of yours! LOL! Next I need to comission a dragon and I’ll have a set that will satisfy me for a little while. I’m thinking maybe a either a green or a purple one. Oh! a blue one would be nice too. We need the new eye colors!

I dunno, I always tend to dislike alot of my own work. I mean, it’s not BAD, but not a fair trade for the INCREDIBLE TABBY ARLLA DID in exchange for it! Something about the black in the throat area, the fire on the chest, and the lion body angers me. Oh! and I am ESPECIALLY IRRITATED with the beak and hands….I think maybe charcoal would have accented it better. ACK! *hits self on head* It’s already shipped so I should stop racking my brain about it. I just know I’m going to sit in bed and think about it for an hour or so before I fall asleep, haha!

You’ve got to be kidding me, drag0n. The beak is beautiful, and I might snatch a bit the claws’ coloring for Cerberus, if you don’t mind. Really, he’s my favorite griff since SPark’s elemental fire one.
