you have no idea how fast I can drive… 😈
Ha! I live in NJ – we consider the speed limit of 65 to be the slowest we should go. If you drive on the parkway or the turnpike you need to go at least 75 not to have someone drive over the top of you. And, although I am not one of those annoying zig zagging drivers, I’m not passed very often! 😈 😆
Hehe… you both need to try driving in Atlanta. Six lane highways where 75 mph is considered slow. What makes it better, is that nobody can make up their mind which lane they want to be in. It’s amazing how some of these people miss getting into accidents.
November 3, 2007 at 12:37 am #633446Yeah, I like the old warrior colors, but i think he needs more reds for shadowing. He’s too blue and theres already two-color blues–peacock and emerald peacock. So, I think he needs more reds with the blends. 😀 😀

I’m with you, GB!!! While the others are busy fighting over that blue one, you and I can make off with all the fire colored dragons!!! 😉
…..and I’ve driven in Atlanta and New Jersey…..and I can drive pretty fast too!!! 😆
November 3, 2007 at 5:03 am #633448yeah, I could imagine that Glacier blue being perfect…but finding the right yellow/violet combination to compliment it. what of a lighter violet? it might blend easier with the blue and yellow.

Pfft…I’ve driven in all those places….and add several more like Phoenix and…..London…talk about interesting and fast paced driving…
and it’s ok….I’m not really into reds so have fun with those…hehe
November 3, 2007 at 12:58 pm #633450I didn’t realize you were into blues. All I’ve ever heard you go on about are the whites….learn something new every day…. 🙂
November 3, 2007 at 1:46 pm #633451I really like this color and think it has tons of potential once it’s the way Melody wants it. I do like copper mauve better, but this will be awesome when finished! It may turn out to be my second favorite with some tweaking! 😀 😀

So this is not a finished version of the color though? How close is it to what you would like it to be(silly question, I know that may be one that does not have an answer)I really love the idea and seeing the type of colors that may be used for the fire/ice theme.
I’m trying to paint a dragon using these colors. Sounds easy, but when you are using pigments that don’t work well together, you have problems. I wanted to use the ruby and gold colors we have. It is a matter of experimenting with different pigments to get the right ones.
The dragon in my gallery isn’t peacock blue, it is a color made out of pthalo blue and pearl white. That color just doesn’t go well with gold and red!
This swatch of color looks totally diferent on this computer than my other one.. the colors are fire orange and light yellow, violet and ice blue.
The eyes on these prototype dragons are already glued in, so I just happened to be experimenting with a dragon that was previously painted peacock. My eyecolor choices are red or blue with these guys.
what fire and ice piece are you talkign about? I can’t find one in your gallery??November 3, 2007 at 9:52 pm #633453This one:

November 3, 2007 at 10:50 pm #633454well where is the fire part?? You posted an Ice Blue dragon??
It could pass for a dragon that is JUST starting to thaw outNovember 3, 2007 at 11:43 pm #633455Ooohhh, kinda like a mood ring, changes colour with the temperature…

It could pass for a dragon that is JUST starting to thaw outOoooh, that’s cold! There are blue flames at times, he’s an awesome start. 😀
November 4, 2007 at 12:58 am #633457I am not a big fan of red but the Ruby color is nice.. a dark rich red! And it looks WONDERFUL on a few dragons, but not all of them. Like the Momma and the OW… the Rising Spectral in Ruby looks GREAT!
But I am a sucker for blue! 🙂

Pishaw. Just let me know when you’ve finished all of the fast driving and have them all in one spot. then I can just come get them from you and save all the running around. Much more efficient that way.
November 4, 2007 at 1:30 am #633459I really like that dragon the way it is, but then again blue is my favorite color. I’d love to see a blue dragon as a production color one day. (I don’t consider peacock or emerald peacock “blue” dragons. They have other colors on them and really aren’t mainly blue.)
