my person is someone else….and I have been trying to contact them….
I know there’s a lot going on with everyone…so I’m being nice and patient….
I have also kept PM’s and airbills on everything too….
I’m just hoping it’s a shipping delay or something….I hate to thing it would be anything devious….
I’m sorry it didn’t go quite right but I’m glad to hear it was Whippet. I’ve been waiting on something from her since March and have tried many different ways to contact her and not heard back. Maybe this is a good sign and I should expect my item soon too.

Well- at least whippet is still alive…and probably the rest of your people too. I’m out something like $1400-1600 because someone I commissioned to do work for me died. She’d had my pieces that *I* sent her for 2 years. It could always be worse.

I have been contacted to say my dragon is on his way so hopefully I will see him soon ^_^ I also didn’t want to make a big fuss but it is almost reassuring to see I am not alone in having to be patient for something purchased from a forum member heh heh.

That’s what I have! I have a ledger and keep track of commissions and who has paid what and on what date, date of being shipped, etc. I also keep all emails until a transaction is complete, same with Ebay. Just in case. Never hurts to be cautious!
Copper, the kirin is beautiful, even with the green eyes! It does look exactly like the one posted in her gallery (I remember when she first posted it a while ago). Not wanting to suspect that it may be the same one, as I could be totally wrong, but it does look the same (maybe the reason it has green eyes?). I’ve removed eyes before in pyos, but I’ve only done a few (I usually just leave them in and use masking fluid… it’s far less hassle :P). I would check with Koishii first, as Nam suggested, if you really wanted to switch to red eyes, since she is the resident expert. However, if you are really in a bind I could probably help as well. I don’t like performing surgery unless I have to 😛

I had the same thought. I think it probably is the same one, except I thought she sold it, which was why she was taking commissions for more of them. I sure hope she makes things right with the rest of you soon.
I got a fursuit head from her I paid for back in March/April-ish for Halloween….needless to say she missed the deadline. Last I knew she was stripping fur from it since she did it the wrong color…even after I sent all the materials for it. *shrug*

I just wanted to add to this that Whippet has not yet sent her piece for the PYO swap to Nirvanacat. If anyone gets a hold of her, please ask about it… and ask if she received her piece from Ryliecat.
I wanted to resolve this before the next swap in January, but I’m not sure it’ll happen 😕

How dissapointing. I wish there was a way to know who to avoid. I have only dealt with one slow person, but she at least admitted she had forgotten me 😆
I’m expecting something from Whippet too, the kirin family I got BIN off eBay in October. We’ve been in contact three times, and each time she has said she will ship them very soon… the last time I checked, “soon” was three weeks ago, and she said she would send them priority at no extra charge to me since I had to wait so long 😕 I’m going to send her another eBay message today.
It’s worrisome since the feedback period is almost up, and if for some reason I wind up not getting what I paid for (I hope that doesn’t happen!!) I want to be sure I can tell someone on eBay that I paid a (large) sum and never got the items.
