😆 Nope, you’re not “my” person, Jasmine…
December 4, 2007 at 11:16 pm #641980Okay…cause if I am one of these bad people…I really don’t remember… 😕
December 4, 2007 at 11:19 pm #641981Hey guys. This is normal me talking, not Windstone Employee me… but if you have made reasonable effort to contact these people (i.e. have tried all means of contact, including email) and they have not responded in a reasonable amount of time or have blown you off, I think it’d be okay if you said who it is. That way the rest of us know better than to do business with them unless they resolve their previous obligations first. Think of it kinda like how you can check on someone via the BBB.
Just make sure to keep things factual if you do- don’t dredge anyone’s name through the mud, just say what happened so to speak.
Remember that people can make mistakes and bad choices- give them a chance to make things right. But if they don’t, then I think it’s only fair if others are fairly warned. When you take someone’s money or goods in exchange for something, that’s business.

My art: featherdust.comDecember 4, 2007 at 11:32 pm #641982I know who it is, but I don’t really want to say… it’s not my place since it wasn’t a PYO I commissioned, but it’s someone who isn’t exactly a bad person and was once a very frequent visitor on the forum, but maybe just isn’t all that professional… I had taken some time to complete one of lamortefille’s commissions during my move, so I guess I can’t talk, but communication is a BIG factor is staying professional. I always tried to stay in touch and keep customers updated and I always follow through. I tried to give her a discount when I finished it but she wouldn;t hear of it! LOL! I understand, and most others do as well that sometimes things come up, but copper and I were both completely ignored for a VERY LONG time and that’s unacceptable. I think that’s pretty wrong.
I am STILL waiting on something from March….but at this point I think it’s safe to say I was left high and dry… So I guess I’m a little irritated about it too. At least you eventually got your commission Copper, though it wasn’t correct. I doubt I’ll ever get mine. Blah! More money I could have spent on a new Windstone, down the tubes…how depressing. Sucks that it was very expensive too.
Hopefully you at least got your money’s worth. Maybe someone could change the eyes for you with any luck. I’m no good at it, but I’m sure someone here is.

I will refrain from naming “my” person for the present (I think we are dealing with more than one person here). I’ve heard some news about them through other channels, so I’m still hopeful I’ll get my pieces eventually. I don’t think anyone is in danger of getting ripped off by them, as they are not accepting new commissions or even responding to emails, etc. Things happen in peoples’ lives and some are better able to handle their responsibilities than others. drag0n is right though…communication is the key and an email would be very welcomed at this point.
December 4, 2007 at 11:56 pm #641984Thank you SO MUCH lamortefille!!! I’m glad he was woth the wait for you =) You’re so nice! I’m also pretty hard on myself to which I’m sure you already know, hahaha!!! We need FLAPCATS!
As far as “the person” …Well, if you look through me and copper’s old posts it’s not hard to see we were both searching for the same someone a few times in the community section…
it’s too bad. They really were someone who I thought would always be on the forum ya know?Got a busted Windstone?

I looked through copper’s posts, ’cause she has a lot less than you do. 😆 Nope, it’s not the same person. I hope we get this worked out with our respective people.
December 5, 2007 at 2:03 am #641986I wasn’t sure I was going to name her, but I think most of you have figured it out. It was Whippetluv. I’m not going to bad mouth her. Stuff happens. But this was very badly handled on her part, which she admitted to when she finally responded to me. I repeatedly told her that a little communication would go a long way with me. I’m glad I got my PYO. Wish it was the one I sent her to do. Oh well, lesson learned. One thing I would tell anyone that wants to do business with someone on the Forum is save every bit of correspondence between the two of you (I did,). This included my receipt from Windstone for the PYO that showed shipment to her, and my Paypal receipt showing payment to her. It might not have got me my PYO, but at least I had proof of everything that was said and done.
Ok, with all that said, anyone good at removing eyes from these guys? I’d like to change them, but I’m afraid of damaging him. Here’s some pics. Except for the eyes, I’m happy with him.
And this is the one he was supposed to match.
December 5, 2007 at 2:13 am #641987Your Ki-Rin is very beautiful. I don’t know how to remove eyes though. But I am sure someone who can tell you will happen along soon. 😀
December 5, 2007 at 2:19 am #641988Pretty kirin copper!! For eye removal insights, you should PM Koishii. 🙂 I think she has some advice. I am trying to keep anyone from discussing easy eye removal methods in public just to prevent any shady passer-bys from attempting it (and ripping off Windstone casts).

My art: featherdust.comDecember 5, 2007 at 2:31 am #641989I know you wanted red eyes instead, but the green eyes look beautiful on him. That is a really nice paint job she did.
December 5, 2007 at 2:35 am #641990The kirin is very pretty, but I think it would look better with red eyes, too.

No problem Nam. I may just leave it alone anyway.
December 5, 2007 at 2:52 am #641992I am making a list of everyone that I am doing trades with! 😛 I bought a notebook JUST for this forum JUST so I can keep up with things! LOL
And copper… your kirin is beautiful!!! 🙂
December 5, 2007 at 3:32 am #641993That koi rin is beautiful. Red eyes would have been nice but, the green eyes are really very nice.
I’m still waiting for my castle. I’ve given up really. I’ll be very surprised if it ever reaches my doorstep. But, that’s okay, it wasn’t broken that baddly but, I would have sold it for very little anyways. I just don’t have the time or the patience to fix things anymore.
I do have a bad memory. But, I do remember what people owe me or what I owe other people. The only time I kept a ledger was when I was selling 98% of my collection. (I hope I never have to do that again. It was very stressful, and expensive.)
