Well today I took my husband for his last test that needed to be done before they would activate him for transplant. All of this was supposed to be done over a month ago but the doctors are dragging there feet and I’m not allowed to yell at them. So I’m crossing my fingers that they will list him within the next week because if they don’t I’m going to put my b**** face on and go to town. Tomorrow I have to take him back to the hospital for his check up. Turns out all the antibiotics they had him on have messed up his liver so they stoped them right away. They are toying with the idea of admiting him to the hospital since they are not sure if his pneumonia is gone. The can’t continue his meds since his liver is a mess right now so I don’t know what they are going to do. I just hope he gets his lung transplant soon and everything goes ok. One good thing out of todays running back and forth, I found a nice display case for my bvp old warrior. He looks so happy sitting in his happy little box, lol.

August 13, 2007 at 9:02 pm #607806Sometimes the b**** face is what it takes. (I hope not though…) Good luck with everything!
(ps. congrats on the display box. I’m sure your OW is indeed a very happy camper 🙂 )
August 13, 2007 at 9:02 pm #607807I hope things go well for both of you. I’m still hoping for a happy ending to this story. Just remember we’re all here for you.

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmAugust 13, 2007 at 9:16 pm #607809The CF clinic said I’m not allowed to yell at the transplant team because if I make they mad they will not help us. I think that is stupid and it shouldn’t matter if I yell at them or not. If they are not doing what they need to be doing I should be able to yell at them until the right things are done. The CF clinic nurse told me I need to be nice and kiss butt so they are more likely to help us because thats just the way they operate. She knows how I get when I feel things are not being done (I’ve yelled at her before). Soooo I have to behave myself and smile and hex them under my breath.

Sorry, that just made me laugh. Hmm, maybe you should bake them some cookies before and after. The after cookies would contain something to make them go to the bathroom. haha Totally just kidding, but the thought had me laughing.

That is a awesome case. Where did you get it from and how much did it cost (if you don’t mind me asking)?
August 13, 2007 at 9:52 pm #607813I wish you the best of luck for a speedy transplant and that everything comes out OK in the end. Also congratulations on the BVD he looks good and that is a fantastic case
August 13, 2007 at 10:01 pm #607814I got the case from Michael’s craft store. Its the football helmet case (the football case is a tad too small). It was supposed to be $60 but when they rang it up it was only $30. Go me 😆
August 13, 2007 at 10:28 pm #607815Sweet. Now, to go look for some. Thanks.
August 13, 2007 at 10:32 pm #607816Make sure you look at them really well. The first one I got had a broken corner that I didn’t see until after I took the plastic wrap off of it. They are good with returns but it was a pain in the butt to run back and forth to the store.
August 13, 2007 at 10:35 pm #607817Ok, I will make a note of that. Thanks. 😀
