So I have a few busked pieces for sale. First I have that emerald emperor that got broken in the mail. I payed $400 for him and I realise I can’t get that back for him but I will take the best offer. SOLD
Next I have a Royal Hatching.. (not sure if it’s empress or emperor)… I got it from someone who had got it from a store broke and tried to fix it… very badly.. they basiclly didn’t try to fill the broken areas and instead just painted over them with nail polish… Now the colour match is pretty good but still. I will take best offer on this one as well. There are also a few chips out around the eye. here are pictures.
You can’t really see it but the largest area that I circled is where there is a chunk missing and someone repained it with nail polish. There are also some chips and flea bites on the other side and in other areas that aren’t in the picture.June 12, 2007 at 3:16 am #588596TC…I have a suggestion on your Emperor, before you sell him, would you give me the opportunity to try repairing him first?
Damn, I just realized you are in Canada..the cost of sending him to me to be fixed would be prohibitive. Damn.
I’ll PM ya an offer.
Kyrin
June 12, 2007 at 5:12 am #588597I live in Canada, and though I don’t have any sculpting to prove my talents my dad uses bondo for his cars and my mom’s an artist with top quality acrylics. If you really want to keep your emperor you can cover insurance for shipping with about the same $10 Kyrin charges for repairing. I haven’t the money or the privelidge to see much of windstones up close, this would be a nice experience. Asking someone with their own whole emperor to take close up pictures of the areas where yours is broken would nice too ^^

Left cold and naive again. I dont understand why this would be? Why cant the piece be shipped for repair and returned? Sounds simple enough to me. Not like it’s illegal or smuggling or something like that. What am I missing here?Confused 😕
June 12, 2007 at 11:58 am #588599Because the cost of shipping him would be a mint.
June 12, 2007 at 12:29 pm #588600Emperors are heavy; he’ll cost a lot to ship no matter where. I don’t remember exactly how much it cost for Emerald to send my Gold emperor, but I think it was around $20.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.

It’s a lot more now and bigger boxes are based on dimensional weight (dimensions + weight), not just weight. Ach! What a pain in the rear!
June 12, 2007 at 4:22 pm #588602Well last night I pulled all my Windsotne down and reorganised to see if I could get those last 8 or so peices in… and in doing this I realised 2 things… I like reorganising them so I think it will become a 1 or 2 a month thing and I already have an emerald emperor. I almost wanted to kick myself.
So at the moment Kyrin has the highest offer on the Emperor.

It’s only $20 to ship an emp across the border? How much is it for shipping inside the States?
June 12, 2007 at 4:25 pm #588604tc_cat, you should write a list of what you already have and keep it with you. so when you buy, you will know if you have it already or not.
how did you not knowtice you already had a green emperor? 😯

It must not have arrived when I ordered the second one… I have a list but I sometimes forget to update it… 😕
June 13, 2007 at 4:43 am #588606I guess I was getting tripped up on the wording. Like shipping it would be “prohibited” as in unlawful or taboo or the like. I can see by the photo he is a monster and is obviously a fortune in shipping anywhere. In fact I dont think Ive ever seen an actual Emp before so even though this lovely is injured, the photo with the hand in it puts his body size in perspective. Yow!
June 13, 2007 at 5:08 am #588607He ways 11lbs and is about 13″ in height. And Sold.
