Yesterday, February 22, 2023, Portland, Oregon, broke some kind of record for snow fall. We only got a little here in Corvallis, but all of our packages travel to Portland before leaving the state. The US Post Office has been brought to a stand still there in Portland, a city not set up for snow and ice! Orders that we marked “complete” yesterday and today may not actually have moved out of our factory yet and those going UPS may not move as fast as usual. We will have a bunch of boxes for the Post when it finally takes them! Weather in other parts of the country is probably causing other delays. We must let Mother Nature do her thing. Please don’t worry about your package if we said it was “complete” and you see no change in its tracking. If you have questions, please email me! susie@windstoneeditions.com
I’m bumping this up for people who may not have seen it. Packages are still traveling that were sent out a week ago. …and Oregon is still having fun weather! Not like last Thursday, but cold slippery stuff falls out of the sky off and on! Our postal service is still struggling. Packages that we marked “Completed” on Monday Feb 27th did not leave the building until today, Feb 28th.
