you’d have to put the mold in the freezer, so that the chocolate wouldnt melt while you demolded it. Molds can be cleaned, should be actually….my only wonder is if the rubber used for molds is foodsafe? I’d say it’d be fine though. mmm….chocolate Poadβ’s…sounds tasty!
I’ll volunteer to eat the first one to make sure it’s safe for you guys. >.>v

I take it you don’t like February for some reason.
February 5, 2009 at 5:52 am #750713It’s a winter month. What’s to like? :nea:

Since everyone has to enter for each one I’d say it varies…but I was curious myself what my actual chances were so I looked up how many members we had in total.. the rules didn’t specify wether you had to be a posting member or not or really anything else that I could tell…using that info..I’ll tell you, I’m entering as often as there is something I even remotely want..12 months in a year it will be a long while before all those members are gone through… π

Oh, but I do like making Valentines. c.c It’s a cute holiday.

The lake would have to thaw first π
We like to make Valentines too. Even though my youngest two are 17 and 18 now πFebruary 5, 2009 at 5:11 pm #750717Greater Basilisk wrote:It’s a winter month. What’s to like? :nea:
Silly! There are plenty of things! Snow, icicles, frost on windows in the morning, the smell of wood stoves, sledding, ice skating, skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, sleigh rides, snowball fights, snow fort building… π
Sorry, I’m a winter baby and have had most of my birthday parties growing up cancelled due to winter storms. However, I’d take mountains, forests and 4 seasons over living on a tropical island any day (though I wouldn’t mind a visit to one)! Winter without snow just doesn’t feel right to me! π
Then again, I can’t deal well with hot weather. I can always add layers. There are only so many layers you can take off and still be considered ‘decent’ in public.
February 5, 2009 at 5:17 pm #750718YAY, somebody after my own heart! No tropical islands for me either. Summer just means heat, misery, and way too many mosquitoes and wood ticks. :puke:
Totally with you on the ‘just add layers’ thing. Can’t take off my skin in the summertime, alas. π

Indeed! Less bugs in winter over all! It’s a good break from wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, mosquitoes, black flies and ticks!
Don’t forget, there is maple syrup and sugar season! Yum! Can’t get that in warm weather or warmer climates! You can fish in the winter too!

twindragonsmum π Real chocolate?
Wouldn’t that ruin a mold? XD It’d sure be cute though. Talk about a large hunk of chocolate, mmr…I’d bite the head off first, of course. That’s how you gotta come to ’em.
You wouldn’t have to make the poad in solid chocolate (dark chocolate, please :yum: ) If you ‘paint’ the insides of the mold you’d get a hollow chocolate poad like the hollow bunnies for easter π π π

I like the decent in public observation. I lived in Florida for 2 years then went back north. I missed the cold ugly weather and the season changes. Although I am a bit tired of -30. I don’t live far enough north for that stuff and yet we’ve had a lot of it. :shrug:Looking for Blue Fawn Baby Kirin
