Feature Requests

These are features I would like to see added, listed first by category, then a list of my top priorities. Feel free to add suggestions and/or priorities.

Messages:
Display more on one page
Have page numbers and arrows at bottom of list, too
Search for messages from / to a particular user
Have a way to see all users on a pm, no matter how many there are
Be able to go to a another user’s home page without having to find a message/ad/post by that user to click on their name.

Forum:
List latest updated threads at bottom when looking at a thread
Remember selection of viewing new or active members
Make search do at least a full text search of all threads’ titles, preferably also allow full text search of all content as well

Store:
Remember selection of number of items to show
Remember selection of sort order

Profile:
Allow editing of item visibilities – there isn’t much point to showing us what they are if there is no way to change them!
Add text entry field for a comment of user’s choosing that is visible to all, shown under “Base” along with name when editing profile

Miscellaneous:
When logging in, redirect back to page came from

Top priorities:
Messages – Display more on one page

Chiming in with my own list, here, and borrowing your format because it looks useful. 🙂

[b]Classified Ads[/b]
– option to renew an ad without having to “edit” or re-submit ad+wait for approval (if no changes have been made)
– display ad maker’s name by ad on the Classified Ad list

[b]Messages[/b]
– option to permanently save a message (“Archive” folder in addition to Inbox/Sent?)
– some way to search for messages to/from a specific user
– some way to search messages by word/phrase
– page #s and arrows at bottom of page

[b]Store[/b]
– remember number of items per page to display
– remember sort order chosen

[b]Top Priorities[/b]
Ads – renew an ad without editing/resubmitting (please, please, please!)
Messages – permanently save a message
Store – remember sort order chosen
