We were expecting her to hit us, but fortunately, she veered off to the east. All we had was some moderate wind a couple of showers. 😉
I’ll be keeping in touch with 2huberts over the next few days, so if her internet dies, I can update.
With luck, everything will be fine, we’re expecting the worst of it to hit on Thursday…as long as it just stays a hurricane and no tornadoes join the party, all should be well.

It passed to the west of me and all the branches on one side of my orchid tree is gone, the bougainvillea and trellis was flat on the ground, I gave it a bad haircut and propped them back up and between downpours I cleaned up the landscape,scooped out the jacuzzi several times and made Tristen go potty. The lake behind my house is almost out of its banks.
I’m okay near Orlando, though right now is when we’re really getting socked. So far no worse than we’ve had before. All my orchids and plants are enjoying all the rain though! (the trees say they could do without the wind)
Darjeb, I have several orchid tree seedlings started, and some tabebouias…Heard from Laurie (2huberts) last night, so far so good…been getting gusts and rain, but nothing major thus far. She’s battening down the hatches and securing the 4-foots just in case though.
Will update again later today, this is the day it was supposed to be the worst.
