He is so cute! He kinda reminds me of those roly poly boxes that the Harmony Ball Co. makes.

July 28, 2008 at 1:34 am #725330I sent a question to the seller yesterday before I did this post about what the armadillo was made of and I just got a reply–he said, “I’m not sure–maybe a resin. I received this and I’m not the collector here. so sorry I could not be more helpful.” So is the armadillo so lightweight that it would be thought to be made of resin, or could this still be a knock-off?

Don’t think so- a small piece like this doesn’t seem too heavy even if it’s made of gypsum.
I cannot think of why anyone would try and knock-off the armadillos, right down to the Windstone stamp. Not enough money for the work involved.
