NaKeD BaBy PiCtUrE!!! We had another gravity defying poop so I took a pic of Alyssa in the tub. I had to cover her privates because hubby was having a fit that I was mean for taking the photo in the first place. I just hope I saved her onesie since it was one of my favorites.
Here is the onesie she messed in….
February 27, 2008 at 11:25 pm #670465Awww, she’s adorable!
February 27, 2008 at 11:27 pm #670466What a cutie!! She is looking so big already!! They change so fast. How is she doing? How is breatfeeding going? How are you feeling? How is her jaundice? she still looks a little tan to me, maybe it’s just the monitor.
Before you know it she is going to be rolling over and scooting all over the place Mama!!
February 27, 2008 at 11:33 pm #670467So, I have a poop story to share….When Noah, my first, was just a few months old we were getting ready to go out. We had a sitter lined up and Noah was all bathed and ready to go. We had him in his swing and he was napping. We were going about our business for a little bit and came back to get him. I looked at him and thought he had spit up his peaches. Um…maybe he thew up, cause thats a lotta peaches….Oh, pew, that smells like….Oh NO, ITS POOP!! It was everywhere, all over him, in his hair, all up and down his cloths, his swing…it was gross! Back into the tub. It’s a good thing babies clean up easy! 😆
February 27, 2008 at 11:36 pm #670468Its actually the lighting in the pic that makes her look tan. She actually doesnt have any jaundice but you cant tell from the pic. She went to the doctor today since I was worried about a cough she had but she is fine. They think its acid reflux and gave me a perscription for her since when she spits up (which is alot) she seems to be in pain. When they weighed her she was already up to 10 lbs! Breastfeeding has been going fine. I love it and would recommend everyone at least give it a try. We are trying to get her used to bottles with pumped breast milk but she hates them.
February 27, 2008 at 11:38 pm #670469Keep an eye on the reflux thing. Noah had it. I’m conviced it contributes to ear infections, so just keep an eye on it…
February 27, 2008 at 11:52 pm #670470Its pretty bad on my side of the family so that might be why she has it. I just try to keep her upright most of the time to cut back on the spit up.

February 28, 2008 at 6:02 am #670473Her expression in the first photo is just classic: “Mom, why the camera at a time like this?” 😆 (“Because, honey, everyone needs at least one blackmail photo for when they start dating. 😈 ” –Or at least that’s the excuse my sister used when she met my husband-to-be for the first time, and promptly yanked out the Really Embarrassing Toddler Singing Movie for his edification. Ah, family. 🙄 )
February 28, 2008 at 3:16 pm #670474She’s adorable! and what a cute onsie to mess up! She looks rather put out by the photo, though. and all parents should have pictures to blackmail with later!
