It seems a lot of Windstones are selling higher than normal.
April 21, 2007 at 1:57 am #563909Yeah… it seems to go through cycles. Unfortunately, I suspect it’s cycling with the general luxury market, so any time Windstones are going cheap, I’m not making any money!
April 21, 2007 at 4:09 am #563910Did you notice BEP OW #21? It’s past $1000!And the Flame is past $1500.
Windstone is doing well right now. Good for them.April 21, 2007 at 4:48 am #563911emerald212 wrote:I’ll be amazed if the winner pays for it with the others ones listed right now.
Do you know if there’s some reason that people don’t just retract their bid rather than not paying for an item?
It seems like that would be preferable to potentially getting negative feedback…
April 21, 2007 at 4:51 am #563912I think a lot of the time you get the adrenaline going, and are all hyped up, and it’s not until the auction is finished and you won that you go “what the heck was I thinking?”
April 21, 2007 at 4:54 am #563913Quite true — I’ve been there! 😆
But I wouldn’t ever bid more than I could actually pay…which is what these non-paying bidders might have done…
April 21, 2007 at 7:30 am #563914Dang! It seems folks have alot of money!!! Time to sell something 😆

April 25, 2007 at 11:30 am #563919Wow!! I’m stunned he went for that much! 400 is alot higher than I ever would have guessed! 😯 😯
April 25, 2007 at 2:05 pm #563920I really sold mine too soon. I bet we’ll see it relisted in a week or two. I can’t believe the buyer will actually pay that much for a Peacock Scratcher!
April 25, 2007 at 3:36 pm #563921Not when there is another one ending soon at £77
April 25, 2007 at 3:40 pm #563922$405 was the ending selling price.
For fun, I liked the description on this Flion:
