I keep getting this error when I try to purchase from the shop:
This webpage is not available
The webpage at https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Error 205 (net::ERR_CERT_UNABLE_TO_CHECK_REVOCATION): Unknown error.(this error is from Chrome)
It happens once I have reviewed my order details and as it is attempting to access paypal. Is anyone else getting this?

I clinked on your link and was taken directly into my PayPal “My Account” page because I was still logged into PayPal. I logged out, tried it again, and was taken to the PayPal log-in page.

Edit: That worked! Thanks!

I looked up this error and it seems to be a pretty universal problem with Chrome, specifically, tries to load up Paypal when being directed from another site.
This is a problem with Chrome and Paypal, and not with the Windstone store.
Here are a few fixes, if you want to try them in the future:
(mostly the first two)Can’t Access Paypal – Error 205 (net::ERR CERT UNABLE TO CHECK REVOCATION): Unknown error

There is NO space or drop down menu to type in the country or the state and you can’t go forward without it – gives error. So we cannot purchase ANYthing from the store. Ticks both of us the hell off because we KNEW this would happen and were hoping new pieces wouldn’t come out during such a glitchy time. I am using Firefox and no other problems and all other store fields are there to type in the info – except for State and Country. So now we get scrapped on with the new curl and don’t get to buy anything until this is fixed. This blows…
EDIT – the problem currently remains and Susie is aware of it in my case, at least. As for the desired purchase – a friend has taken care of it; tho I think Susie is also running a simultaneous one, poor thing! Is this a feast or famine joke?!!

The city and state appear to be filled in for your account and your order is processing. Are you still having trouble?

My art: featherdust.comApril 9, 2011 at 7:10 pm #842152Yes, there is still trouble and the order you seem to see, is canceled because a friend of ours got through with the order the same time Susie was doing my cousin’s manually. I answered you more in my own thread. But no – the shipping/billing info you had me plug into this account does not automatically appear when trying to purchase. Jillian had to type it all out by hand and when she got to the State and Country fields, there was no place to type and no drop down menu. She tried to go through anyway but it bumped her with an error and does not let her purchase. Problem remains and we’ll work with Susie next week to place a mock order to see if it works then.
We just happened to get very, very lucky that not only did Melody make enough such that they did not fly all the way out of the store which is the norm, but that Susie was there to receive our emails about this at the time, AND a friend of ours was also available for contact and made the purchase for Jillian by proxy. That is the first order that was completed and to whom we owe the money. Susie knows to cancel the order you seem to see on this account, as that would leave us with 2 Curls and we do not need 2 of them.
As for the order page, when you type in manually that info, do you guys know that there is only a field large enough to see just a few letters at a time? In other words, you cannot see your street address in full or even close to full. All you can see at one time is about 4 characters worth in all fields. And as for us, we sure do hope this glitch is fixed by the time we do purchase another piece because it is more likely for a quick sell out of new or hot restocked pieces and having to type manually as well as the glitch, would leave us unable to buy. Thanks to Melody for making enough that this didn’t become a problem this time and thanks to Susie for her patience.
*** Would be very, very nice to have a drop down menu (or something) that tells us how many of the pieces are left in stock so that we don’t run around like chickens without heads in worry they’re about to sell out any second. We really don’t like not having this knowledge. I’m sure we’re not alone.

April 10, 2011 at 2:40 am #842219Sway, I understand now… thank you kindly for explaining.
Fixing the store problems are the first things on Clay’s priority list (and why the fixes for the forum have been slow recently), and so I thank you for your patience with us (only one person, Clay, can fix this stuff right now) and I am really sorry for the unintended frustration it’s caused for you.Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! My art: featherdust.comApril 11, 2011 at 2:22 am #842271OK now I’m getting errors galore for some reason, every time I try to purchase something.
This is what I get:
warning: Parameter 2 to uc_payment_order() expected to be a reference, value given in /var/www/vhosts/windstoneeditions.com/httpdocs/includes/module.inc on line 462.
warning: Parameter 2 to uc_quote_order() expected to be a reference, value given in /var/www/vhosts/windstoneeditions.com/httpdocs/includes/module.inc on line 462.
warning: Parameter 2 to uc_googleanalytics_order() expected to be a reference, value given in /var/www/vhosts/windstoneeditions.com/httpdocs/includes/module.inc on line 462.Yeah, it gave it to me 3 times just like that in a red box at the top of the screen.. my order will not go through 🙁
Edit: It gives me the same error in Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer, so I’d be hard pressed to believe this is a browser related error. I’m not usually one to mind waiting a few days to get something ordered, but unfortunately I kind of need this to be ordered asap ><
