Movies that drive me nuts: one or more of the Harry Potter you could hear Hedwig’s wings flapping – she’s an owl so you shouldn’t have been able to hear her.

The Green Mile – they kept changing the mouse. The last one was a long haired variety and looked nothing like the other ones.

Andre the Seal – they used a SEA LION!

And when I pointed out that the teeth were all wrong on Stuart Little, the animated mouse, a friend pointed out “but the fact that he is talking is ok.”

Has anyone read David Edding’s Belgariad? (Pawn of Prophecy …) I thought Eragon borrowed heavily from those 5 books.

Im a pilot and it all looked ok to me, i mean nothing jumped out that made me think hang on i cant do that in my plane its wrong lol. I’ll have a look if i watch it again 😀

I meant flight as in flight powered by tissue and muscle, not turbo props or jet engines. XD
The physics are the same, but the thrust is not.

Well they COULD be the same but that would require animals to er…expell gas from their…um behinds :X

I kinda enjoyed the movie, but I would have liked more battles. It was a little slow and then anti-climatic. Never even knew there was a book till the movie came out. It was worth watching, though. It was just not an OMG THAT WAS AWESOME- type movie.

I liked the movie too. Could of been better, but most movies could be better except for The Lord of the Rings anyway. I liked Sophira or however you spell her name. But yah, I agree with Eragon needing to be slapped!

Love that series! Actually love most of Edding’s work.
