I sort of use my old warriors as empress dragons…I think the OW and the emperor look so good together, and he’s just about the right size. I honestly don’t mind the thought of a female dragon getting all scrappy looking – she’s a fierce old girl! ;D Or, you know, maybe they’re gay dragons. I’m cool with that… 8)
Or it could a couple of guys hanging out together, swapping war stories and watching the girls hanging out on the other shelf. π
OW: Oh, hey man, that chick is totally looking over here! Puff up, dude, quick!
Emp: Like this? Do I look tough? Is she still looking?!?
XD :D:D:D The OW would get all the girls…chicks dig scars.

Yes, he is the older, more “rugged” gentleman. The emp is totally a cocky young buck bent on looking tough π
September 16, 2007 at 7:26 am #616911π Now I’ll always think of the emp as a half-grown adolescent – and I used to think he was the oldest dragon out there.
September 16, 2007 at 1:51 pm #616912Nah…the OW is definitely the oldest of the dragons. Not too old…as Arlla pointed out, he’d be the chick-magnet!!! I think of the Scratcher as a young male show-off type!!! The Emperor falls somewhere in between π
September 16, 2007 at 3:48 pm #616913I think it would be worth it to polish down the scales….She would be magnificent in black gold, or red gold….sigh..
September 16, 2007 at 10:14 pm #616914I don’t know…I’m probably the only stick in the mud on this one, but I’m just not fond of the lawn dragon sculpt…I’d totally buy her as an outdoor sculpture, but not as a production piece like the other windstones…her legs are so chunky…or her head too small…or SOMEthing. Something about her bugs me.
That and she’s posed just like the lap dragon.

I feel the same way! I’d love to have her in my lawn (how cool would that be!!) but she’s a lot like the lap, and I’d far rather Melody put all that labor into an all new sculpt rather than trying to sand the lawn dragon to get it ready for a possible production. π

ME THREE! I WANT THAT ONE FOR MY LAWN! all caps for enfisis. Really, i could be ok if it was a production, but I REALLLLLY would prefer it as a lawn dragon to put next to my koi pond.
I do agree that her pose is too simaler to the lap if she were to be a production piece for my taste.September 17, 2007 at 12:48 am #616917I think we all want a new production dragon sculpture, don’t we? π
September 17, 2007 at 1:15 am #616918Yes, I think so! π

Me four! I’d love to have that dragon for the garden too. But somehow the outdoor Windstones never end up making it outside… πSeptember 17, 2007 at 1:48 am #616919mimitrek wrote:Yes, I think so! π

Good plan — that’s where mine are! π I think they prefer to be house dragons. πSeptember 17, 2007 at 5:05 am #616921Arlla wrote:I don’t know…I’m probably the only stick in the mud on this one, but I’m just not fond of the lawn dragon sculpt…I’d totally buy her as an outdoor sculpture, but not as a production piece like the other windstones…her legs are so chunky…or her head too small…or SOMEthing. I’ll be a stick in the mud with you. I prefer her as an outdoor dragon. But I’ve found the outdoor dragons are my favorites anyway. Even around the OWs and Spectrals, I think the Rock Dragon is my most favorite piece.
September 17, 2007 at 5:18 am #616922I think nshe need to be made for outdoors. I need several to hide in my flowerbeds….

YES!! I only suggested her since I thought she would be EASY to cast since the mold already existed. I have been waiting for years to FINALLY set my eyes on a Full Size Empress Dragon. Oh to dream!!! π π
