Hi Melody
I noticed that there has been some discussion about the JADE colored dragon latey in another thread…. 🙂 and I am just wondering if there might be a possibility for a JADE EMPEROR DRAGON in the future…I think that JADE would look amaizing on him…. 😆

That’s not a bad idea… Since Jade was never released as an official color on the Western dragons, it might even work.

I already asked this and Jennifer said that even though Jade was an accident color some got labeled as Emerald and since Emerald is now retired they would not be able to release an actual JADE color, well that was what she said in a nut shell

I think it is a very bad idea to paint any dragon ‘Jade’ that was previously done in the now retired emerald, because no one knows for sure if there are any Jade ‘mistakes’ of these dragons.

I think it would be best if this color was only done on dragons that have never been painted emerald back when it was retired (things like the curlies would be neat).

This way there is no chance of accidentally devaluing a retired piece.

I hope to someday issue Jades in any dragon design that we have never before painted in Emerald. We did issue the Emperors in Emerald, so we won’t paint them in Jade. That way, you can be sure that if there are any REAL jade emperors out there,( we have no idea !) you can be sure that they are a rare treasure, and not new ones we have painted.
