Emerald/Peacock or Gold?

This is kind of a poll of what you guys prefer on the OW. Only because I’m wanting to get a new one for my collection, but just can’t decide which to go with first. Any opinions, and or pics you can share of yours would be much appreciated. Thanks! 😀

I have an Old Warrior in Gold and i just love him!!!!!!! 😯 But i prefer the Emerald peacock colour over gold!

But i can’t love my Gold Old Warrior anymore than i do now so even if i got an Emerald Peacock Old Warrior i don’t know which one i would favour, i don’t think i could!

I have an emerald peacock old warrior but I just don’t like them without the extra violet. I still need to get a gold one.

If I sent him to you my old warrior army would not be complete. I still need a gold and violet flame old warrior to fill out my ranks. Then I’ll need a black gold old warrior and I’m holding out hope I’ll snag a rainbow one too. I need more money 🙁

I have the OW in gold, and I have to say he is just spectacular in that color! 🙂 It’s the brown shading that really makes the color work for him: I wouldn’t like him if he were monochrome gold. I have been waffling on whether to save for one in Emerald Peacock, but I just don’t know if I’ll like that color on him because it doesn’t look like there’s enough of the green-gold, and I really preferred them with the violet. (I missed the IVEPs when they were on eBay, not enough cash 🙁 ). I guess I’ll eventually get him in EP, but I plan to buy him in Red Fire and Black Gold first.

I only have the OW in the Brown color but I do want to get him in another color so this thread will be good for me to see which one I will want to get eventually… 😀

The Empea is pretty, but you’re right purpledoggy…it need some purple. The gold OWs def. need the brown shading. For me, it would be hard to choose either of them without seeing a picture of the actual dragon or seeing it in person.

I was one of the biggest squeakers for the ema pea old warrior but I just HATE that they don’t have the violet. Honestly if I wasn’t trying to collect this sculpt in every color I would trade this guy for something else 🙁 I just don’t think the emerald peacock color has the right “pop” without the violet added in.

I looked at pictures on Astralcastle for a while before deciding on the old warrior I would get. Em pea didn’t do it for me (I have the male and momma with purple, so now I’m even more glad I didn’t go that way), so it was between the gold and the red fire. I went with red fire, but it’s not here yet!

I’d put the pics in but the Gold one is too big, and I’m on the wrong computer to fix it. I prefer the Gold myself, but I like the Red Fire too.
