Ok I just listed my Oriental and Young Oriental on ebay,I listed them as Jade but then I noticed that there were emerald paints and jade paints. What was the difference.

Here’s a thread that has some pictures comparing the two colors.

All of the orientals are officially called “jade” even though some are more like the emerald dragons in color. All the other dragons were called “emerald”, but some of them had a darker jade.

I believe the darker, jade color was a mistake.

There is a picture of a Jade vs Emerald scratcher under General Windstone/Photos of new and “camera shy” windstones, message #34 on page 1.
That thread was last updated on 11/18 so it is probably buried on the 2nd or 3rd page.

The Jade version is darker, with almost a turquoise green shade in it, the emerald version is a bright green.

Also, the peacock orientals come in light and dark. At least my adult oriental is a very dark almost navy blue, and my young oriental is a bright blue.
