No. They’re still available. I’ve gotten two from the warehouse within the last month. My order forms show them still orderable (if that’s a word). The babies are gone though. The Sun Dragons are still there.

Edit: I just looked at the listings and this is the guy I got the two medium claw foot candle holders from. They came quickly and packed well.

The Oriental Sun Dragon is cheaper than retail and the Young Oriental is cheaper than it would have been if I could still sell it. The Oriental Sun retails for $187 and the Young retailed (past tense) for $69, but are currently unavailable. They are like the unicorns and bookcases – out of production, but not yet retired.

The Oriental Sun is still available, but no longer being produced, if that makes sense. It looks like he’s just selling his retired (out of production) stock, like I’m doing.

      Thanks for the correction/info! 🙂

I’m watching those pieces. I’m curious to see how much people are willing to pay for newly retired colors – or the Orientals that are out of stock. Mostly I’m wondering how how high the rainbow will go, because rainbow prices on E-Bay have really rocketed since the color was retired. They don’t turn up often, so they go high.

Right now only the Grand Unicorn and Young Unicorn are out of stock. The others still have some left at Windstone. I don’t have any currently, but I can still order from Windstone if you want me to get something for you (but not the Young or Grand).

I was surprised how much the young one went for. Almost as much as the adult Oriental dragon. Is that normal? He’s cute; that probably accounts for something. Congrats to both dragoness and Rusti on their buys.

Sorry, I couldn’t resist. And I figured that I would save on shipping as well.

I don’t think you got got a bad deal on either, dragoness. 🙂 But these pieces only just my interest perked for the Orientals, so I didn’t know what their normal prices were anyway.

Hey, Dragonmedley, did you see this one?

I saw that – the difference (aside from the ending date) is that he/she now ships to Canada. I’m not sure, they might have more than one.

Either that or they screwed up. I had asked if they shipped to Canada (yes), but ebay wouldn’t let me bid because of the seller restrictions. I just sent a message saying thanks, but no thanks, so they might think they lifted the restriction. Dunno ❓

Hmmmm. I hope they either have two or pull the 1st listing.

They responded to me; it’s a second one. They’re really nice to include Canada to give me a chance!

I got my peacock oriental sun today, and she’s quite pretty, with her greens, purples blues and oranges. I’m still waiting on the regular emerald oriental I bought.

                        #526563

I did see the oriental, but I didn’t see who sold it. Mine should be on the way…so hopefully I didn’t get ripped off.

Yeah, I haven’t heard from the guy I won the regular emerald oriental from, even though I’ve sent him/her a couple messages now, it makes me vaguely nervous.

If everything comes through OK, I’ll still give ’em a positive feedback, but mayhaps a mention of lack of communication!
