I LOVE POTC- hubby and I will be there int he theater the first week- we avoid the opening night because of weirdos dressed as pirates and such…
Oops, sorry Cat :p
J/K!
Avoid weirdos! The very thought! I’d go on opening night for the *sole reason* of encountering weirdos, regardless of whether or not I really cared about the movie… haha. Went to the HP 4 first night showing with my friend and it was great… all these Hogwarts students everywhere and a bunch of Professors. There was even someone dressed up as Voldemort!

Gosh, I love that…
My dad nearly had a fit when we stood in line for LotR: the Two Towers for four hours opening night, managed to be first in line, and a kid dressed as a hobbit shot into the theater in front of us π I’m pretty sure that kid now thinks orcs are real… Dad can be pretty touchy when you get in the way of his LotR addiction.

I also went to HP 4 opening night, loved it, all the kids and people with banners like in the movie, I want to go to HP5 opening night for the same reason.
March 27, 2007 at 11:34 pm #556033I don’t go to the theater much, but HP5 is definitely one movie that I want to see in the theater!
I’m also eagerly awaiting “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”…
March 28, 2007 at 12:13 am #556034I’ll be right in line behind you, Mimi….for the movie and the book π
March 28, 2007 at 12:19 am #556035π Does Sean like Harry Potter too?
March 28, 2007 at 12:28 am #556036He loves the movies, but I can’t interest him in the books. π
March 28, 2007 at 12:30 am #556037Very strange…you probably need to put a spell on him… π
March 28, 2007 at 12:34 am #556038Well, I’m afraid when it comes to choosing between reading and video games, the books always lose π
March 28, 2007 at 12:38 am #556039Ah…that seems to be a common phenomenon with kids nowadays…
March 28, 2007 at 12:42 am #556040Sadly so. If I make him read, he loves it. But it’s such a struggle to get him to sit down and do it π
March 28, 2007 at 12:43 am #556041My son is the oddball, he loves his video games but he also reads voraciously! He read an entire HP book on the way home from Oregon when he was 10 π
March 28, 2007 at 12:44 am #556042That’s great!!! π

Haha, that sounds familiar. I read the entire Belgariad by David & Leigh Eddings when I was twelve.
THEY JUST RELEASED THE COVER FOR HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS.
March 28, 2007 at 9:56 pm #556044I just saw it!!! Isn’t it cool!!! π
