Best of luck! π
March 31, 2008 at 7:50 pm #680601No, not the customary last day bump, (not yet, at least π ).
But I wanted to do something special for my first PYO Ebay sale and didn’t have the time to make a COA, so I painted up the box top in a scheme relevant to the Kirin!
I was even able to use some of the original colors (the photo is aweful, its sleeting here).
And I don’t think the current bidder is a forum member so if they win, they will be surprised π
March 31, 2008 at 7:52 pm #680602I hope he goes really high girl. Your painting is flawless. I wish I wasnt moving… cuz I would not mind having another of your peices. Mos Def.
March 31, 2008 at 9:07 pm #680603Thanks, Ski. I’m not expecting anything spectacular (we are in a recession afterall), but as long as the winner likes him, that’ll have to be good enough for now.
You’ll have to post some photos of yourself on those beautiful beaches so we can all drool π The next traveling PYO is gonna LOVE visiting you π
March 31, 2008 at 9:10 pm #680604Cool box!
March 31, 2008 at 9:28 pm #680605I don’t visit the Gallery much, so I thought I would post a couple here for others to see, too. Your work is lovely Lokie!
Edited to add: Cool box, too!

April 1, 2008 at 4:13 am #680608i just love that kirin! he’s a beauty! if you don’t mind me asking, which photo package did you use on ebay to display him? your pics are clear, sharp and big (but not “supersized”) and when i ran my auction they were small, mealy and looked like butt honestly even though my original pics were super nice! i did just the plain photo upload (after photoshopping them smaller)…should i have used some sort of photo pack? i don’t sell on ebay much so i am out of touch with some of their upgrades since a year ago or so…. π³ (sorry i don’t mean to hijack your thread)

π― Hijacker!!! HIJACKER!!! πΏ
Just kidding. Don’t feel bad for asking, it took me quite a while to figure out how to do this.
It’s not a photo pack. I linked to the images directly (which are hosted on Photobucket) in the “Description” part of the Ebay auction. I just typed out all the necassary stuff (inspiration, shipping, payment, etc. ) in the “Description” section. Then, still in the “Description” area, I clicked the HTML code tab (I think it’s the right side tab). Your description changes to HTML format and is a whole bunch of code crap.
Then I went to photobucket (after I edited the photos of the Kirin in Photoshop and uploaded them to Photobucket) and then click the boxes of the images I wanted, then clicked “Generate HTML and IMG Code” at the bottom (blue button), then highlighted and copied all the codes in the “HTML images for Ebay, Livejournal, MySpace, etc” and just pasted them back in the Ebay Auction “Description” section (you should still be in HTML format). Then I just cut and pasted each image code (still in the “Description” section) around until then were in the correct order of how I wanted them seen (had to use “Preview” a lot) , and, well, congrats! Free images in whatever order and size in the description section π
Sorry if I over simplified, you probably know most of these steps, I just needed to walk myself through the steps to remember. But you get the idea π

April 1, 2008 at 6:38 am #680612There is my kirin on the left!! He is such a beauty.
April 1, 2008 at 2:57 pm #680613wow! π― lokie those instructions are incredible!!!! thank you!! i bet that did that a little bit to figure out! thats brilliant though to use the photos off of photobucket, so they don’t have to be sized differently and loaded to all different places! wow, i so totally can’t wait to try that out!!! (happy dances with snoopy) thank you soooo much, you’re awesome! π
