I can’t change my original. But I do apologize for using the word “harassment”, it was not the best choice of words.
I think once a reply is posted, you can’t edit a post.
If she is charging that much for shipping for those reasons, there is no need to be rude to anyone that asks :/ She could just politely explain it, that’s all. Or even mention it in the auction. I think everyone would appreciate her wanting to make sure the item gets to the buyer in one piece! And if I had the money and didn’t have that piece, I would bid knowing she’s willing to follow the “correct” way to ship the item.
And yes, UPS is a terrible place to buy shipping items. They charge something like $7 for an empty box, ugh.
Honestly, this thread should probably go away. If she has a reasonable explanation for the cost (yes, shipping supplies ARE expensive), then leave it be. And don’t bid if you feel like it’s too much. Yes, she should have incorporated it into a reserve price for the dragon, but she didn’t know. The initial thread asked a reasonable question, but the responses are bordering on being against the Windstone forum’s rules.
I’m done talking about it, if anything I’ve learned of one person I will never deal with.
I never mentioned any names and I certainly will not.
The thread will “go away” just as soon as people stop replying to it. Or if anyone wants to request Jennifer to lock it, feel free – but I think that is unnecessary.
