Dude! WTF is with the new way they set up payments for ebay fees?! I can’t use my paypal balance to pay seller fees anymore and ALSO ebay just TAKES money out of your bank account whenever the hell they feel like it! GAH!

and getting a phone number takes a freaking computer GENIUS! It took me like a half an hour of jumping through link after link to get a private “pin number” to even call them. Now I’m in my 2nd hour of being on hold! Really!?!?

I don’t understand it either, drag0n. At the beginning of the month they send me a notice about how much I owe, then they wait a week or two until the most inopportune moment and WHAM! massive ebay charges. I wish they would just take it after the buyer pays (just like Paypal does, it’s the same stinkin’ company!). 😡

Dude, I’ve had an account with ebay since before Paypal even EXISTED and now they are just royally screwing up my bank account. I’m about ready to just close my seller account.

I have been trying to get a charge reversed since about 3 hours ago and I keep getting bounced back and forth between ebay and paypal. I wanna break something! I don’t even OWE them anything. My account is like negative $2.30 cause I already overpaid them last time. Why the hell are they even charging me?!? I listed 3 auctions tonight ad each one was 50 cents so even after those post, I will STILL have a credit.

It just irks me NOT be able to keep track of what’s being taken out of my bank account and WHEN. 🙄 🙄 🙄

I haven’t sold anything in quite some time, but do you have to link to your bank account or can you just give them a credit card? It would be easier to use a card, especially since you can call the card company and get those charges reversed.

I’m so sick of both of them.. because the one transaction they gave the buyer his money back.. just because he said he didn’t get the item even though he did.. so between ebay and paypal I’m out about $600.. and they call every 5 minutes all day long trying to get their money..

well it’s not going to happen until I see my item back in my hands.. so yeah.. not playing with either one of those companies anymore..

Yeah, they have changed things again, and upped thier final seller value fee, it is now like 9% no matter what it goes for, but they say they will never charge you over $50. Still, if you are not making over $500 regularey for that to happen, that is a lot of money.

I am curiose what will happen with your situation Dfeathers. They way they send out notices and then charge an account has me bothered too. I just HATE using it….So sad that there are customers out there that do not know of the forum though 🙁

When I sent Lauie money for Jasmine’s wedding gift they charged me $.86. That is the first time I have ever been charged for sending somebody money, Is that something new?

I just paid my ebay seller fees like yesterday or so and they allowed me to use my paypal balance (and if they take it out of the bank I’ll be irate-I have a special account just for buying online so theres nothing in it) Did you click through an invoice they sent? Maybe that makes a difference 😕

HAHA! Jokes on them, I just cut my bank account off and figured out how to turn their access to it on and off *MWA HAHAHA!*

It’s just an extar step whenever I want to list an auction. Right ater I am done I delete the link to my bank through my Paypal preferances 😆
